in my first grade placement we have been working on our daily five. "read to self" being one of them. Miller talks about the importance on independent reading and how every classroom should allow it's students enough time to read independently I think that this anchor chart is awesome to have posted in the classroom to remind the students the roles of the teacher and student during independent reading.
