Fire Roasted Salsa Recipe
Ingredients • 4 tomatoes • 5 jalapeños • ½ onion • 4 cloves garlic • 1 bunch cilantro • 1 tbsp salt • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 lime (optional) • 1 tbsp oil Instructions • Set oven to broil setting. • To a baking sheet, add the tomatoes(cut in half) skin side up, the jalapeños and onion. Broil for 5 minutes. • After 5 minutes, add in the garlic cloves(still in their peel), coat them in oil and broil for another 5 minutes. • Once all veggies are nicely charred, add them all to a food processor or blender, but first squeeze out the garlic cloves from their peel. Add the cilantro, salt and pepper. Pulse/blend until the salsa comes together but is not completely smooth. • Serve into a bowl and use with your favorite foods. • Optionally, you can stir in the juice of one lime at
