Module 4 Quiz 2 1.What are the limiting factors that affect population growth? Describe each and attach pictures illustrating each limiting factor. -->A limiting factor is a resource or environmental condition which limits the growth, distribution or abundance of an organism or population within an ecosystem. These can be either physical or biological factors which can be identified through a response of increased or decreased growth, abundance, or distribution of a population, when the factor

a graph shows growth and the rate of growth in an area that is very low
The logistic growth model. A small population initially experiences exponential growth. As the population becomes larger, resources become scarcer, and the growth rate slows. When the population size reaches the carrying capacity of the environment, growth stops. As a result, the pattern of the population growth follows an S-shaped curve.
