This scrappy little solution I came up with to hide our laundry hookups turned out to be one of my favorite DIYs that I’ve done! It just feels more polished in here and it was cheap and easy to do! The standard width countertop is not going to work above a washer unless you want a seam down the middle… IKEA has an “island sized” countertop that is perfect for this! You’ll have to cut it to size, but it’s wide enough to fit above your washer and dryer and is super affordable! 👉🏻 This one is the “Ekbacken” island countertop in lively marble.
