What are your favorite “low-tech” architectural elements that reduce energy, water and waste in buildings? Material which i love which are love tech are concrete, wood, and glass block. Concrete is great because it is a great thermal mass which absolves heat or cool and relies it through out the day. Glass block is an unused material today, but it has great insulative properties which allows light to penetrate into the space. #iiturbanism
