This one trick transformed my dahlia growing and it’s SO simple! the answer: PINCHING! The pinching rule for dahlias that I follow is 100%! I like to pinch 100% of my dahlia tuber stems when they hit about 9-12 inches tall. Trim the main stems so that you leave a few sets of leaves below the cut.
