YOU WILL NOT BE SENT A PHYSICAL RANGE HOOD! YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT THIS ON A CNC. The largest dimensioned piece is 36 inches by 26 inches. These are DXF files that are used by a CNC router to cut the surface and rib supports from plywood for a curved range hood. The shape of these curves are derived mathematically, not using an approximation. The digital download includes 3 DXFs: A support piece that's cut multiple times to form the ribs under the surface. I cut 10 of these: 3 for each side and 4 for the front. The shape of the side surface. This shape will have to mirrored or you can cut it out twice as is and just flip one of the cut pieces. The shape of the front surface. I recommend cutting the support pieces from 1/2 or 3/4 thick plywood. The surface pieces should be cut from plywood that is thin enough to bend. I used 1/8 inch bendable (grain all in the same direction) plywood. The files produce this size of range hood: Total Height (including apron):30 Apron Height: 6 (the apron is not included in the DXFs. It is just a box. Its height is subtracted to calculate the curve height. Base Depth: 19.5 (how far out the bottom of the curve extends from the wall, this doesn't include trim) Base Width: 36 (the width of the curved hood, this doesn't include trim) Top Depth: 12 (the how far out the top of the hood extends from the wall) If you need a different-sized hood please see my other custom size listing. For an additional fee, I can generate custom files. Please let me know if you have any questions about the files.
