Wally Gator (voiced by Daws Butler impersonating Ed Wynn) is an anthropomorphic Cajun alligator who made his debut in 1962. He is more comfortable when he is at home in the city zoo, but makes many unsuccessful attempts at escaping his enclosure. In the Cartoon Network Shorties short titled "Wally Gator: Alligator Liberation" he is forced out of his enclosure by agitated animal rights people and is taken to his "natural habitat" where he encounters actual alligators who offer him bugs to...
