Chinese Chèuhngsāam was the original dress style of the Manchurians and was adopted by the Chinese in the 1920s. Usage in Hong Kong and Western countries mostly followed the original Shanghainese usage and applies the Cantonese-language name cheongsam to a garment worn by women. The style and elegance of this attire is unmatched. Posted by Sifu Derek Frearson
