Ymhlith y teithiwr ar y Lusitania ym Mai 1915 oedd David Alfred Thomas (Is-iarll Rhondda) a’i ferch Margaret Haig Thomas. Suddodd y llong gan long danfor Almaenaidd ond goroesodd y ddau. Dyma’r siaced a achubodd Is-iarll Rhondda. Among the passengers on the Lusitania in May 1915 were David Alfred Thomas (Viscount Rhondda) and his daughter Margaret Haig Thomas. The ship sank after being hit by a German U-boat, but both survived. This is the lifebelt that saved Viscount Rhondda.
