The Mayan civilization was one of the greatest civilizations in the past. The civilization of the Mayans was regarded as a group of people who spent their lives in Central America but now very few Mayans actually live there. The Mayans were the only ones in America who used written language before the arrival of Columbus in America. They were extremely skilled in building, art, math, planets and stars, that’s why they have their own calendars known as Mayan Calendar.
