Vaughn Died August 6, 2011 Serving During Operation Enduring Freedom 30, of Stuart, Fla.; assigned to an East Coast-based SEAL team; died Aug. 6 in Wardak province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when the CH-47 Chinook helicopter in which he was riding was shot down. Part of Seal Team 6...thrown under the bus by the Obama administration along with the rest of the Seal Team members when the administration decided to "spike the ball" after Bin Laden.
