aesthetic named after Ada Lovelace, the first computer programmer back in the 1800s. this aesthetic is imagining an alternate reality where Babbage's computers kickstarted the technological evolution of 1930s to 2000s computers, but a whole century prior. so imagine a 90s desktop computer but with aesthetics of the late Victorian era, 1890s specifically. obviously this isnt realistic, just for fun. there are two sub-aesthetics: victorian lovelace & nouveau lovelace.

Antique Antique Victorian Figured Walnut Sewing Table.
This antique sewing table is beautifully decorated from base to table-top in golden chinoiserie lacquered stories and patterns. The table is from early 19th century England and has to side compartments for materials and tools storage. These compartments remove for more materials storage underneath. The tilt of the table below the hinged panel table-top is also adjustable.

Babbage's Difference Engine. "Babbage designed, but never actually completed, two machines - one called the Difference Engine and the other called the Analytical Engine. " The Difference engine has nevertheless been reproduced in the late 20th century days by this guy in the picture (name escapes me), and even exposed in a museum in London.
