Just struck a first week if school activity! Everyone make a quilt square and piece them together to make a grade level quilt for the hall. Have specific "about me" topics for them to use to design their quilt. Use goals for the year as well... A work in progress this idea will be.

Every child in the school used an allocated colour to draw three images or patterns. Staff and parents constructed ‘The Tree of Life’ using these drawings. The colours depicted the ever-changing colour spectrum of our lives.
