ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders is a multiplayer extraction adventure, set in a lethal future earth, ravaged by a mysterious mechanized threat known as ARC. You play as a Raider and must explore Topside looking for valuable loot before returning to your underground home, Speranza.

Your ventures into the Topside are based in different locations around the Rust Belt. Locations (maps) include Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, The Spaceport and the Blue Gate. There are rumors of a place called Stella Montis, though its exact location is unknown.

ARC machines will be looking for you whenever you are Topside. They come in a variety of forms, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. The small and stealthy Ticks live inside structures, and use their spider-like forms to cling to roofs and walls. Further varieties include the Snitch, the Leaper and the Bombardier. The highly aggressive Queen is as large as an apartment building, and there may be even bigger ARCs out there, somewhere.

All locations feature different weather and times of day, and at times a location might have special conditions applied. These are events that take place on a map and alter how it is played and what rewards it offers. The Rust Belt is a place of constant change and offers all kinds of challenges.

Due to the ARC threat on the surface, humans now live in the relative safety of Speranza, hidden below the surface. Here you can perform various different actions and build your own home. Upgrade, craft and repair your gear and weapons at your personal workshop. Meet the various traders of Speranza, many of whom have their own agendas. Unlock Codex entries, compete in Trials and much more, from your base of operations.

Pick the right weapon to fit your play style, with options including the Rattler, a simple automatic rifle, and the Vulcano, a close-range shotgun. Higher-tech options, such as energy weapons like the Equalizer, are also available. Specialize your guns by adding attachments or taking them to your workshop for upgrades. While Topside, make use of gadgets including ziplines, mines, door blockers, flares and grenades, and decide what level of armor you want to protect yourself with.

Select from different Faces, Face Styles, Hair Styles and Body types to fashion a unique Raider. A wide array of color options and detail toggles let you further define your style. No Raider is complete without a Backpack, so you will have options there, too. Additional cosmetics can be unlocked by completing quests and leveling up, or they can found in Raider Decks or purchased via the in-game store.

ARC Raiders is available for and compatible with all PlayStation 5 consoles, including the PlayStation 5 Pro. It is not available for PlayStation 4.

ARC Raiders is an online, multiplayer-only game but it can be played solo, as one Raider going Topside, as well as in teams of two or three.
