Season 1 of Battlefield 6 will be released in three phases: Rogue Ops, California Resistance and Winter Offensive. Each phase is packed with thematic classified military hardware, cutting-edge gadgets, new maps and weapons of unprecedented power.

Multiplayer    

Fight in iconic global locations as you seize glory in classic, large-scale modes like Conquest, Breakthrough and Rush, or jump into fast-paced intense experiences including King of the Hill and Domination.

Campaign

Join up as a member of the elite Marine Raiders in the returning global-scale Campaign. Travel to iconic locations across Africa, Europe and America as your squad battles to save the world.

Portal

Create and share your own unique multiplayer experience that could climb the ranks and become an official mode. Tailor your environment by moving, scaling and duplicating objects. Create your own game mode, design a custom UI and script NPC behaviour.

Battlefield 6 Classes

Empower your squad to play the way you want

Choose from four core Classes, each with distinct perks and gadgets.

Assault

The Assault class are frontline warriors who punch through defences to open the way for the rest of the team. Enhanced mobility, combined with the option to throw on an extra primary weapon, makes them a formidable force that can push deep behind enemy lines.

Recon

Recon can be found at the edge of the battlefield, waiting for the perfect headshot. These snipers are also tacticians who can pinpoint enemy positions with drones, plant C4 to cripple tanks and level buildings, and control a laser designator to guide their allies’ missiles to their target.

Engineer

Engineers are the deterrent for tanks, helicopters and jets. Armed with a satchel filled with rockets and mines, this class is all about being a menace to enemy vehicles. They’re also the only class capable of repairing friendly vehicles, equipment and weapon placements.

Support

The Support class is there to pull squadmates out of the fire, throw down supply crates and heal you in the fight. Support can lay down deployable cover, intercept enemy grenades and missiles, and are the masters of the LMG.

Multiplayer maps

Experience multiplayer combat on a global scale, with iconic locations all over the world.

Operation Firestorm

The classic Battlefield 3 map returns. Fight for control of a burning oil field with infantry, tanks, helicopters, and jets.

Operation Empire State

Operation Empire State is an infantry-only map featuring explosive engagements spanning alleys, rooftops, and the iconic streets of Brooklyn, New York.

Saints Quarter

A close-quarters combat map designed for fast-paced infantry-only fights, set around a fountain flanked by destructible buildings in Gibraltar’s Old Town.

New Sobek City

Brave the heat as infantry, advance the frontline in a tank, or take to the skies in an attack helicopter. Set in a construction yard on the outskirts of Cairo’s suburbs, New Sobek City wages all-out war across construction sites and massive sand dunes.

Manhattan Bridge

Engage in close-quarters gunplay on the streets, take to the skies in an attack helicopter, or change the flow of combat with large scale destruction.
