Ocean Wisdom broke through in 2015 thanks to the speed of his flow, supposedly faster than Eminem's. But behind the headlines, a real artist with an increasingly interesting discography was born. After a rather mixed first album, Chaos 93’, the second, Wizville, saw him cross a milestone thanks to superb tracks like Revvin', featuring Dizzee Rascal. So Stay Sane came into being amidst a mixture of expectation and the need to confirm his talents. Straight from the off we can say that it's a success. Because it's a calm, deep, introspective album; and because the Camden native's masterful technique makes him one of those artists who can be at ease in many different registers without ever straining themselves. The melodic boom-bap mixes (Uneven Lives featuring Maverick Sabre, Dilly Rucksack...) and the more trap-influenced, darker moods (Can't Breathe Either, Don't Speak...) make up a richly varied album, which often boldly breaks the mould.
