Released in 2017, "Cult of Chucky" stands out as a delightful and distinctive entry in the franchise. It successfully reunites many beloved characters and actors from previous films for a final showdown, making it a truly enjoyable experience that I would gladly watch again. The chemistry between Chucky and Tiffany is particularly entertaining, even with a fresh take on Chucky's character. Their dynamic captures the essence of their tumultuous relationship, showcasing both their animosity and affection for each other. Additionally, it was a real treat to hear Brad Dourif reprise his role as Chucky, as the previous voice change to Marc Hamilton was a misstep. Seeing Andy Barkley return, along with familiar faces and the introduction of new characters, added depth to the story. Overall, I found it to be a very solid film. While it leans more towards comedic horror than pure scares, it strikes a nice balance of humor and thrills, making it a fun watch for fans.

A shaky start but everything I love about this franchise comes together in the third act. Ridiculous, funny, & bloody. It feels big with really good visuals. An over reliance on unreliable narrators yet the climax is strong.
