Guy Pewsey London Evening Standard Noth, then, is merging his career bests: solving crimes like in his Law & Order days and emotionally manipulating the blonde heroine à la Sex and the City. The plot could be better and so could the characters, none of them really jump out and make you care about them which is a bummer. The main character Kit/Kick isn't that likeable and is often clueless, you find yourself shouting at the tv a lot when it takes forever for things to click to her. Also, everyone has either been kidnapped at one point or been affected by a kidnapping. Danny Pino's character Bishop, watched his twin get kidnapped when they were kids/teens. Andy Mientus' character James was kidnapped at 14 and Leven Rambin's character Kick had been kidnapped as a kid as well. They also wrote Pino and Rambin's characters to have chemistry but also gave Rambin's character a boyfriend, it also seems somewhat like forced chemistry so just seeing them together while she's dating someone else is uncomfortable. The show ended on a cliffhanger (shocker) but it didn't have anything in its favour with a generic name which came up with a thousand other results when searched up and Pino's character having the same name as a character in TMNT.
