Product Description

Designed for mace swings and flow style workouts, the Rogue Mace brings new features and Rogue quality construction to one of the original weight training tools. Available in four different weight options ranging from 10-20LB, Rogue maces provide athletes a tool to build on rotational strength, and improved shoulder and core stability. The benefits and workout versatility of maces has led to mace training being a favorite among the functional fitness community.

The Rogue Mace is fully machined and assembled in the Rogue factory in Columbus, Ohio. The shaft for the 15LB and 20LB versions start with solid stainless steel that is machined down and knurled into a 32MM diameter shaft. The 33.5MM hollow shaft on the lighter 10LB and 12.5LB maces are machined to spec and each feature an ideal knurl that is light enough not to tear your hands, but has enough “stick” to provide optimal grip. The pommel at the end of the shaft is machined from a solid billet of stainless steel, further enhancing the quality and feel of the mace. The sleeve of the mace is precision machined to tolerances that leave minimal end float, providing a secure and smooth rotation.

STAINLESS STEEL LOADABLE MACE

Designed for mace swings and flow style workouts, the Rogue Mace brings new features and Rogue quality construction to one of the original weight training tools. LOADABLE DESIGN

The Rogue Mace is compatible with Rogue Steel DB Weights, Olympic style change plates, and Rogue Dumbbell Bumpers, to allow athletes to easily adjust the total weight of the mace through different progressions. The sleeve orientation has been reversed, positioning the collar on the outside end to better secure the weight during swings, ensuring the user’s safety. This reverse sleeve design also positions the weight as close to the end as possible, maximizing the leverage. The loadable aspect allows the athlete to progress and perform a variety of mace-style workouts without needing to purchase multiple maces in different weight variants.

ROTATING SLEEVE FOR FLUID MOVEMENT

The Rogue Mace features an Olympic barbell sleeve that utilizes a bushing design to allow for the loaded weight to rotate freely. This provides a more balanced feel throughout the rotation when swinging the mace.

STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION

Each version of the Rogue Mace is made of stainless steel, with the 10LB and 12.5LB versions utilizing hollow stainless steel shafts, creating a lighter handle and concentrating the weight of the mace toward the end of the mace. The heavier 15LB and 20LB versions are constructed using the same stainless steel as our barbell shafts giving the Rogue Maces a unique, solid feel, backed by proven strength and durability.

COMBINE WITH ROGUE DUMBBELL BUMPERS & Steel DB Weights

While the Rogue Mace is compatible with all Olympic plates, we’ve optimized it to pair with our unique cylinder-style bumper—the Rogue Dumbbell Bumper—as well as Rogue Steel DB Weights. Originally created for use with Rogue Loadable Dumbbells, these compact 230MM diameter plates feature a recessed chrome plated insert that allows the barbell collar to inset inside the bumper insert, allowing for the weight to sit at the very end of the mace. The precision-machined, compact Rogue Steel DB Weights offer a dense, space-saving alternative, allowing for an even more streamlined fit.

Please Note: This product is meant for swing style workouts and not to be used for slams. Due to the raw material used in the construction of the M10R and M12.5R versions, there can be some noticeable cosmetic defects in the surface of the shaft material.

Key Features of the Rogue Mace:

Multiple Weight Options
1

Multiple Weight Options

Available in multiple weights—from 10LB up to 20LB options, the Rogue Mace provides a starting point for anyone getting into mace training. The loadable design allows users to grow with the product and requires less individual pieces of equipment they need to perform a variety of mace style workouts.

ROGUE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
2

ROGUE QUALITY CONSTRUCTION

Utilizing elements from our world class barbells, we use a bushing sleeve design to allow for the sleeve to rotate freely when in use, and our heavier 15LB and 20LB Rogue Maces utilize the same stainless steel we use for the shaft of the Rogue 32MM Squat Bar. The lighter 10LB and 12.5LB Rogue Maces are constructed using hollow stainless steel shafts which creates a lighter mace, and helps concentrate the weight toward the end of the mace. We knurl the shaft just like a barbell, and add a pommel to the end so you never have to worry about grip, even on the heaviest loads.

PROPRIETARY MATTE BLACK SLEEVE
3

PROPRIETARY MATTE BLACK SLEEVE

The matte black sleeve used on the Rogue Mace uses a new process that effectively transforms the surface of the steel rather than coating it. This greatly improves the sleeves’ corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance. Proprietary matte black sleeves will typically maintain their appearance much longer than traditional sleeve finishes, even through regular everyday use.

COMPATIBLE WITH DUMBBELL BUMPERS
4

COMPATIBLE WITH DUMBBELL BUMPERS

Rogue Dumbbell Bumpers are a unique update on traditional rubber bumper plates, utilizing a compact cylindrical design. Added to this are the cut-out inserts which are made to fit over the collar of the Rogue Mace sleeve, moving as much weight as possible to the end of the mace. The Rogue Mace is also compatible with any Olympic style plates.

FANTASTIC for your core
I started mace training about 6-8 months ago with a cheap mace and then, this past Christmas, took the plunge and bought the Rogue 12.5-pound mace. This thing is FANTASTIC and very well balanced. It's a great investment if you already have the plates, and you'll probably never need another mace beyond this. Within a couple months, my abs, core, shoulders, grip, etc. have all gotten much, much stronger. I wish I would have started mace training years ago. I highly recommend it for anyone serious about getting a stronger core.

Well done!
I have been using various maces for 10 years, and Rogue has produced a well-designed and well-built mace. Whether you are new to mace work or have been using this tool for years, you will not be disappointed with this mace.

Work of Art 20 pounds 45 inches (solid off-course)
Sorry, traditionists who like hollow tubes for their maces. I like a solid piece of steel for added resistance during my mace exercises. Additionally, I wanted a variable-weighted mace like the one from Rogue. When I go to the gym to do bench press, I'm not doing 6 to 8 sets of a single weight. I start light and move up; the same thing applies to my mace from Rogue. Start with a light weight and gradually increase it. The variable mace is also a space saver and cost saver, whereas buying eight maces would occupy a massive amount of space and be a significantly more expensive option.

The 12.5lb Mace is PERFECT. The others not so much
The 12.5lb mace is perfect. Great knurling. The pommel is super comfy. I also use it for overhead triceps extensions and it works great for that. Don't bother with the other lengths/weights. The 31" maces are both too heavy and too short when using 9" 10lb/5kg plates. And because the 20lb mace has a solid handle the weight balance is all screwed up. But the 12.5lb mace is perfect. Just heavy enough that it's conceivable you could only use that mace for years before adding weight.

Tremendous
I started swinging maces and clubs about a year ago and bought many of them up to 25 pounds of weight. Mostly from Onnit. Then I saw this adjustable rogue mace.i figured it would save me a lot of $$ in the long run if I wanted to continue increasing weight. I went with the 12.5 because it’s hollow and similar to the more traditional maces you’d find in India. I already increased my weight from the 25 pound mace I was used to, to 37.5 pounds on my first day swinging this. Probably could have done more but I only need more small plates to increase weight. This thing can easily hold 8 5 pound plates making it 52.50 pounds. And if you were to use tens you can get up to about 92.50 pounds on this one mace. If you were to buy that many maces it would cost you anywhere from $1,500 -$5,000 because the heavier you go the more expensive and also nearly impossible to find heavy maces in the USA. That alone makes this 100% worth it. And it also is overall very well built and solid equipment. I use it not only to swing but also to perform kung- fu and other bodybuilding techniques. This is a limitless and extremely versatile tool which has been masterfully designed. I have not found anything similar anywhere. I will most likely get the smaller 10 pound one as well and I hope they will make clubs and other similar items to this in the future. Very happy with this purchase & I absolutely recommend.

Solid piece of workout equipment
This is definitely a well built, solid piece of workout equipment. I considered options like the Kensui wooden mace, Onnit's fixed weight mace, and others however the ability to increase the weight gradually, the durability that steel piece of equipment offers, as well as it being a USA built product were the factors that made me decide on the Rogue Mace. I chose the 12.5lb option because of the length and I'm glad that I didn't go heavier on it. I have been practicing with it for the last week and plan on adding the 2.5lb plates as I progress. Take the plunge and order yours.

I now have 5 useless fixed maces!
I got into mace swinging to help with my shoulder pain. I bought all these fixed maces off of Amazon before coming across this product. This thing feels so much better and has a way grippier handle! When doing club uppercuts, the front spins giving you a much different feel!
