Idk how active this sub is but can y’all gimme some song recs similar to sb19’s sound & concept? I’m also trying to get into more ppop groups as well (I have some songs from VXON, Press Hit Play, 1st.One, R Rules, Baby Blue, LITZ)
Bakit sa P-Pop bigdeal masyado ang visuals pero sa ibang OPM genre naman like rap or hiphop (where Skusta Clee and the entire Ex Battallion is known for) e hindi naman ganun ka big deal yet they outstream most PPop songs? Dahil ba nasanay sa K-pop idol culture? Or genre differences? Or sadyang preferred lang sila Skusta ng nga tambay sa comshop na monster streamers din?
Before I became an A'TIN, I listen to them naman, like yung Pauwi Na Ako, Zebbiana, Hayaan mo Sila and even songs from Ron Henley, Hambog ng Sagpro Krew at Breezy Boys/Girls songs. Syempre, I listen to Gloc 9 din.
Ito ang tinitira against SB19 eh, ang visuals. Lagi na lang sa tuwing may barda doon sa bird app, yan at yan lagi ang binabato sa group eh, pero kahit ganon, the mahalima still get recognition and still gaining endorsements by some known brands.
Except for Sexbomb songs (this is an OG PPop yeah) and SB19's MAPA, meron pa bang ibang P-Pop group song na yung tipong alam ng lahat, the same popularity na naeenjoy ng Ben&Ben or Skusta Clee's songs?
Kung wala naman, anong current or upcoming P-Pop groups' releases ang may potential na mag boom sa general public?
This may sound weird for some people, but it is definitely one of my dreams is to be able to work for an entertainment company (especially in the marketing and creatives department). Now that we are getting a lot of PPOP groups, I do wonder if they will give importance in providing creative projects or contents. I believe they lack in that aspect (except ShowBT, they do understand their consumers although I do not follow them). I want to work in this industry, but I'm not sure how and where to apply. Any tips though?
