We had tried a few places before popping into this lovely place and none of the other restaurants could safely accommodate our food allergies. This restaurant made us feel welcome, safe, well taken care of, and gave us a tasty meal and kind service-all in a fun atmosphere. We will definitely be returning! “Great Nano Brewery. Very friendly people with awesome beer. Great service. This is where the locals go to chat and have a delicious beverage at the end of the work day. Most weekends you will find some sort of fun event going on at Far Gohn. Try the Jim’s Process beer, it's tasty and refreshing. Ask about the Mug Club, more beer for less money and you get a cool mug that you can have engraved.”

“Visited this morning for the first time. It was a fantastic experience. The staff were helpful, friendly, and most importantly knowledgeable. We made three selections. Two were guided (I was looking for an aged Cheddar with crystals) and one impulse buy. All were excellent. This is not the cheese store for your average American cheese consumer, but the perfect place for those with more experienced palates. We will be back!”

“My wife and I were in Culpeper today to attend her uncles service at the Culpeper National Cemetary. After the service was looking for a place to eat. My wife and her uncle are Greek and I noticed this gem while looking through Google. We decided to go in his honor. Charlottesville has many Greek owned restaurants but our trip to Albanas was our first time at a place that served totally Greek cuisine. I can't think of the right words to describe our experience that would do justice. I think I have found a new favorite restaurant. The food and atmosphere was so delightful and amazing. The food was so fresh and everything is made in house. The pita bread melted in your mouth and my wife and I ordered the Gyro and we both commented that as Gyro fans it was the very best we had the pleasure to sink our teeth into. We had a awesome Greek salad as well and the dressing was so flavor packed and refreshing. Can't wait to make the trek back to Culpeper again soon to partake in this great establishment. We met Albana while we were there and she was very nice and you can tell she takes great care and pride in what she serves and the customer service from the other staff was supurb as well. This was also our first experience at a restaurant where a robot brings your food out to the table. I was very impressed with the people, food and atmosphere. Culpeper definitely has a little corner of Greece in its midst!”

“Good beer and good food. Visited on a Saturday so they didn't have pitchers of beer it was only by the glass. The menus were over the bar. You order at the bar and take a seat. They have hightop seating, booths and tables outside. The have darts in the back. Dogs are welcome. Owners are very nice.”

“This place is a hidden gem!! ☺️ I ordered bean and cheese pupusas, carnitas tacos, al pastor tacos and al pastor burrito. *absolutely everything* was delicious!!!!

The staff were very friendly and nice, and I love the salsa/toppings bar. The nice woman at the counter gave me a small ziploc bag to put salsa and toppings in it to go, which was very kind of her.

I would order anything again in a heartbeat, and will definitely be back to try more items. ☺️ five stars, absolutely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

I’m mad I didn’t buy more of it. While we were just visiting the area that weekend, I’d happily take the couple hour drive to come back (specifically for the chicken salad and candy!)”

“I looked everywhere for a local made Caramel Cake for my wife's birthday. I called Knakal and was told they made it. They sell it in 2 or 3 layers. I ordered the 3 layers and drove over 90 miles to pick it up. It was worth the drive! The cake and icing were moist and excellent. When I arrived, I told the lady at the counter it was for my wife's birthday. She turned and went in the back about 5 minutes and returned with Happy Birthday and 2 flowers inscribed on the cake. The cake was DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Such a great southern treat!”

“Don’t let the negative reviews keep you from great pizza! The pizza here is great! We almost didn’t visit, but are so thankful we did! This is a no fluff place, with a “hole in the wall” vibe. The pizza was honestly, the best pizza in this town. Crust was fantastic with great flavor, sauce was great with hints of basil, and the cheese was perfect. Not a thing wrong. Quit bashing this place, as if you could do it better. Instead be nice, and if you’ve never been — it’s totally worth it. To the owners — we came because of the negative reviews. Glad we did! First timers and we’ll be back and will further encourage others! Thank you for great pizza!”

“I would give it two stars. I ordered the hamburger medium rare and it came very well done. I asked if I could have the house salad without the blue cheese and I was told I could, but it came with blue cheese. No waiter ever came back to our table to ask if everything was all right. I had to flag down a waiter to return the salad with the bled cheese. A waiter did show up after we finished eating to refill our water glasses and to inquire whether we wanted to order dessert.”

“Met up with a former work colleague for brunch. We were hungry, so we ended up essentially ordering 2 breakfasts each. After some slight mix ups, we each got our platters. Eggs were perfect, potatoes & bacon crispy & and delicious, and waffles were amazing. Because of initial miscommunication, the manager reduced the price down to slightly more than just a single breakfast order. I gave atmosphere a slightly lower score because layout and decor was a bit too much like an evening cocktail bar which limited seating options and felt a bit off for a daytime eatery.”

“If you’re ever find yourself driving through VA, you NEED to detour to Culpepper and stop here! Bbq was on point! Smoke ring on the ribs and brisket was perfect! Nice bark and crust on the ribs. The green beans, Mac n cheese and coleslaw are perfect! Cornbread was similar to a corn casserole type and was delicious! The Santa Fe Quesadilla had the best cheese pull I’ve ever had with a quesadilla, delicious and was flavorful with each ranch sauce they gave! the pulled pork was melt in your mouth!! And to top it off YOU have to end your feasting with the Banana Pudding! OMG it was so divine and one of the best banana puddings I have ever had at a bbq establishment! 10/10 would recommend!!”

“!!BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN AREA!! Having lived 45 years in Los Angeles where authentic Mexican food is king, I can honestly say that this restaurant surpassed all expectations. Don't let the small size of this restaurant fool you. What it lacks in size it more than makes up for in food and service. The food was hot and excellent. The young woman who waited on my was professional and courteous. One thing besides food and customer service, that makes or breaks a restaurant with me is cleanliness. Sparkling clean. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

We have been there many times and we had a few bad things but very few. All our waitress have been very good. But the gentleman that been there 2 days if I had a restaurant I would have hired him and help him make his career with my company the best. He very eager to learn. We ask him question that he didn't know but he went straight and found out and was right back. When he was at the table I told him he was doing a great job. Called to make reservations for a large crowd at many local restaurants for a Sunday morning, to be told “We don’t offer reservations on Sundays” Not Peppers Grill! They booked us right away! Large table to seat 15 people and decorated well for Christmas! Our server Sharon was on top of things and never let out cups or glasses get half empty! Very friendly atmosphere and many items to choose from on the breakfast bar! Will definitely be back! Thank you for making reservations on a Sunday for my family!❤️”

“I was so excited to finally come in here. We are in Warrenton and I miss our country cookin' but whoever we are in Culpeper we seem to eat somewhere else. I am so happy we FINALLY did! Food was great! Server I think her name was Amanda was on point. The place was really clean and not too busy. It was just as I remembered it in the old location 😁 Honey butter spread, the greens!, beans! And a great salad!! With well seasoned I had fish this time but I usually get steak and a loaded baked potato. I rolled out of there afterwards, so happy stuffed!! Thank you for keeping it alive!! We'll be back”

“This Chick-Fil-A has been on point for the last 10+ years. The other day I ordered 4, 12 count grilled chicken nuggets with side salads (truthfully, I wanted the fried but I was trying to be good 😉). On the way to my destination I ate my grilled nuggets - Delicious! When I opened up the bag, (now mind you I NEVER check to make sure I have everything, they are always on point) there were 3, 12 count fried nuggets. Well, I guess the good Lord knew what I really wanted and blessed me 3-fold. We ate them & enjoyed every bite!”
