The details of the menu, signature cocktail, embellishments and affordable pricing were as smooth as silk. The follow up meetings were effective and brief. Every detail was accommodated in style and with class. When Alicia said not to worry, they will handle everything, I left it in their capable hands and didn’t give it another thought. The event of about 30 family and dear friends was an astounding and resounding success. One word: Delicious! The presentation was wonderful. The service was timely, accurate, professional, and nearly invisible throughout the evening. Everyone is still raving about the menu variety, service, and the General sumptuousness of the event. This was the best choice. Alicia, you are wonderful!! We are still on cloud 9. This one review represents 28 rave accolades and approvals. Job well done!”

“My family ate at Venturas on Tuesday; my husband ordered the steak which I was seriously so impressed with that I just had to drive back there tonight to get a takeout NY strip for me (I did share with my husband too). AGAIN, very impressed! Perfect seasoning and tenderness which i have not had since eating at a Ruth Chris in FL! I love their bread with the Pesto in the oil! Nice touch. Thank you”

From having dinner there for the first time about a year ago, to falling in love with their food and having them cater my wedding, everything they do is amazing. Truly the best chicken parm and chicken marsala I have ever had. They made the entire process easy and stress free (which if you’ve ever planned a wedding you know does not happen often!!). They made sure my husband and I had our own food first to make sure we ate, and made us out own to go meal at the end of the night. Every person I spoke with there was incredibly nice, helpful, and funny! Matt and Kathy helped make our wedding day perfect! Thank you guys again ?”

Subs, pizza and pasta were all great, and the staff was excellent, especially the front of the house. Inside was small, but clean. Only knock is no public restrooms, but I get why they wouldn't be open. Would definitely recommend this place!”
“We made a last minute reservation because we had to change venues for a picky eater. We were celebrating my MIL's birthday. She had the ribeye and loved it. That's all that really mattered. We also ordered the burger, a pizza, chicken francaise and Tuscan chicken. Everything was delicious. We were early so the place wasn't too busy and the service was top notch! The waitress surprised us with a dish of ice cream with a sparkler in it for the birthday girl. It was so awesome! Great service!”

Husband enjoyed his Chicken Parmesan, Utica Greens were good (1st time eating them). My Chicken Salvatore was dry and hard. Not enough sauce to even try to soften it up to make the dish enjoyable. Way overcooked. I guess the green beans and mashed potatoes were good. Might go back to see if it was just a fluke. Might not.. who knows.”

“Eating at Ocean Blue is always a wonderful experience. Only one small issue- it's the first time I ordered a soup, my wife ordered a salad. They came out at the same time as the entree. We would have much preferred having the opportunity to finish our soup and salad prior to being served our entree.”

The last time that my wife and I had been there was pre-pandemic, so it had been awhile. We had a great dinner and incredible service from Joe. Mark, the owner, was gracious and welcoming and his food was excellent. It was a relaxing evening spent in this quaint, local landmark. Great atmosphere and excellent beer selection. We'll be back. “0 stars! I stopped in and I swear there was a teenage girl hanging out with a bunch guys there, she remained there with who I was told is the head chef. It's absolutely disgusting to see such a young kid surrounded by men who are in their 30s and some looked older than that. I haven't gone back since and I never will.”

“We’ve had cookies from Wicked Sweets for holidays but never really tried anything else. I have some restrictions on what I can eat and sugar unfortunately isn’t on the list. Finding a place that offers sugar free is incredibly hard, and when you do find it - it usually is extremely costly and honestly doesn’t taste that great. When my husband’s birthday was coming up I looked around for a place that offered flavors he likes and decided to order from here. I looked over the menu and noticed she offered a couple sugar free flavors! I was excited and ordered right away. When I picked up I expected the price to be high and it was extremely affordable. My husband hasn’t stopped raving about his cake and I couldn’t believe how good the sugar free was. I will definitely be ordering again! My only complaint is she didn’t offer a chocolate cake option, but I managed with vanilla lol. She definitely has gained new regulars in our family! My husband got a boozy cake, and I had gotten a cannoli cake. Highly recommend both!”

The pizza and wings are in my opinion the best in the city and I live in Boston. They rival the best pizza in Boston. Phenomenal food, not Phenomenal for Utica NY but Phenomenal anywhere. We need young people to start as many high quality buissneses in Utica as possible and Slice is the perfect representation of that.”
