Only in the process of writing my dissertation and finding my voice as a historian did I imagine myself becoming a publishing scholar. I changed my name back to my maiden name because I was married to a published writer and I wanted what I wrote to be mine and to stand on its own. (English)

The group became a children’s book publishing collective, Lollipop Power, Inc. I wrote the first book we published during my turn at the child care cooperative the three of us with newborns formed. It was a simple picture book, but I keep it on my vita to this day. (English)
