How do you open champagne without it exploding?
Cut the foil off the bottle and then place your thumb on top of the cork while you remove the wire cage. Use your thumb and index finger to guide the cork out of the bottle slowly. Once you start releasing the wire cage, the cork will come out quickly because of the pressure inside of the bottle.
How do you recommend wine to customers?
I would start by learning some quick facts and pairings of three different types of wines. Then, you'll have this information in your back pocket when customers ask about wine recommendations.

Practice makes perfect! Invite your friends over for dinner and serve them wine. The more experience you have, the smoother things will go when you're talking with customers.
