When you've got a case of the Sunday scaries, sometimes the best cure is a cozy movie and a few hours of pretending Monday doesn't exist. Luckily, Paramount+ has plenty of feel-good options to help you squeeze a little more joy out of the weekend before it's over.

Paramount+ added over 120 new movies in September — and, of course, the highly anticipated second season of "MobLand" — but you don't need to go searching to figure out what to watch. Let me do the hard work for you.

I’ve rounded up three movies that make particularly good Sunday-night viewing: "Blue Eyed Girl" for a bittersweet dose of midlife introspection, "Clue" for a wildly funny murder mystery drenched in nostalgia, and "You’ve Got Mail" for the ultimate warm-and-fuzzy rom-com comfort watch. These movies are perfect for keeping those Monday blues at bay, so let's dive into the best feel-good movies on Paramount+ to watch right now.

'Blue Eyed Girl' (2025)

I'm adamant that a "feel good" movie doesn't have to mean shallow; so long as you walk away feeling lighter than you started, I argue there's plenty of room to explore the messier side of being human in 90 minutes while still ending things on a positive note. "Blue Eyed Girl" gets that, balancing love, loss, and laughter in a tender homecoming story grounded in the recognizable charm of Minneapolis streets.

This midlife coming-of-age dramedy stars Marisa Coughlan as Jane, a Minneapolis native who puts her successful Hollywood career on hold to head home and take care of her father (Beau Bridges) after his latest suicide attempt. She bickers with her sisters (Elia Coupe, Bridey Elliott), bumps into an old high school fame (Sam Trammell), and navigates the liminal space between youth and middle age, where “what could have been” meets “what is," learning to love herself through it all.

'Clue' (1985)

Ok, so it's not a feel-good movie in the traditional sense, but this movie never fails to put a big ol' smile on my face, so I think that counts! Plus, I'm sure I'm not alone in still grieving Tim Curry, and he's iconic as "Clue's" kooky but lovable butler Wadsworth. Based on the board game of the same name, "Clue" brings six strangers together for a dinner party at a secluded New England mansion hosted by Wadsworth and the soon-to-be-deceased Mr. A. Boddy (get it?).

The guests — Colonel Mustard (Martin Mull), Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan), Professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd) and Mrs. White (Madeline Kahn) — soon find themselves the prime suspects, especially after more bodies start turning up. Cracking the case won't be easy. A fun fact about this movie: There are multiple endings for how its core mystery wraps up, which were initially screened at different cinema locations, but are now all included on the movie’s digital/streaming release.

'You've Got Mail' (1998)

Rom-coms are the Ford truck of feel-good movies: reliable, comforting, and somehow always able to haul your emotions out of whatever funk you're stuck in. One of the best rom-com pairings of all time, Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, dominated the genre in the early 90s, following up "Sleepless in Seattle" with "You've Got Mail," a comforting hug in movie form that still feels surprisingly relevant, more than 20 years later.

The two play rival bookstore owners — she's the owner of a cozy, family-run shop while's he's a business executive of a major bookstore chain that just opened a new branch in her neighborhood. Unbeknownst to them, they have been anonymously exchanging emails under screen names, and begin falling for each other as they grow closer. Neither realizes the other’s true identity, but when the truth comes out, it threatens everything between them.

There's a whole subgenre of horror built on a simple fear: a child who isn't what they seem. "Case 39" is one of the nastier entries in it, and right now you can stream it for free on Tubi. Move quickly, though, because it's leaving the platform soon.

This 2009 supernatural horror flick comes from director Christian Alvart ("Pandorum") and stars Renée Zellweger as a social worker who bites off far more than she can chew. She's joined by a great supporting cast as well: Ian McShane as a detective and Bradley Cooper, years before "The Hangover" made him a star, as her ill-fated best friend.

Critics were rough on it back in the day, but "Case 39" is a genuinely creepy watch with a couple of moments that'll stick with you, so if you're in the mood for a mean little horror movie tonight, you'll want to make sure you catch it on Tubi before it disappears.

What is 'Case 39' about?

Emily Jenkins (Renée Zellweger) is a social worker in Oregon who takes on her 39th case: 10-year-old Lilith Sullivan (Jodelle Ferland), a quiet girl who seems terrified of her own parents.

Emily suspects abuse, and her worst fears appear to come true when Lilith's parents try to kill her by locking her in an oven. Emily and a detective (Ian McShane) rescue the girl, but rather than send her to a children's home, Emily takes Lilith in herself.

That's when things start to go very wrong. People close to Emily begin dying in strange, horrifying ways, each one right after crossing paths with Lilith. Desperate for answers, Emily visits the girl's institutionalized parents, who finally tell her the truth they were trying to escape: Lilith isn't a child at all, but a demon that feeds on fear. Now, Emily is the one standing between it and its next meal, in a house she invited it into herself. And things only get worse from there.

Why I recommend streaming 'Case 39'

So, I'll be real here. "Case 39" isn't reinventing anything. It's obviously an homage to several other movies, and it doesn't exactly have an original premise. But it's a lot more effective than its reputation suggests, mostly because it plays everything straight. And its cast is fantastic: Zellweger really commits completely to a woman slowly realizing she's made a catastrophic mistake, and young Jodelle Ferland is genuinely unnerving as Lilith.

The real reason to watch, though, is the handful of scenes that go for the throat. There's a scene involving Bradley Cooper and a swarm of hornets that's as nasty and memorable as anything in a bigger, better-reviewed horror film, and the movie's willingness to be genuinely mean gives it a real edge.

"Case 39" is a tense, underrated horror gem that deserves better than it got, and it's a great pick if you're ready to start getting into the Halloween spirit. Just don't wait too long, because it won't be free on Tubi for much longer.

The rom-com genre is an enduring crowd favorite, and it keeps getting new entries every year. This past year has seen big-name titles like the Jennifer Lopez-led "Office Romance," Netflix's "People We Meet on Vacation" adaptation, the sci-fi romance "One Night Only," and more.

This 2021 Hulu original is of the musical rom-com tradition (think "Music & Lyrics," "Begin Again" and what have you)—Marcus Lund (Keean Johnson) is a high school senior who is obsessed with all things music and sound, and harbors a crush on a fellow singer, Wendy (Madeline Brewer).

After learning he must undergo brain surgery that will render him deaf, however, Marcus decides to embark on a cross-country road trip to record the Ultimate Playlist of Noise, an audio bucket list of all his favorite sounds before silence takes over, with Wendy joining in for the ride to New York City.

'Palm Springs'

The millennial answer to "Groundhog Day," this 2020 favorite stars Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti as two wedding guests—he, the carefree Nyles, and she, the depressed Sarah—who have a chance encounter at the Palm Springs-set nuptials of Sarah's half-sister.

They share a mutual attraction, but one that gets significantly more complicated when the duo discovers the next morning that they have been inadvertently sucked into a mysterious time loop, meaning they cannot escape the wedding nor each other.

"Strong performances, assured direction, and a refreshingly original concept make Palm Springs a romcom that's easy to fall in love with," praises the critical consensus over on Rotten Tomatoes, where the sci-fi-tinged romance has a stellar 94% approval rating. (J.K. Simmons, Meredith Hagner, Camila Mendes, Tyler Hoechlin, and Peter Gallagher also star.)

'Maybe I Do'

Now, we won't lie to you; this one wasn't loved by critics. (It earned a pretty abysmal 31% Rotten Tomatoes rating.) But just look at that splashy cast: Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, William H. Macy, and the late, great Diane Keaton. We've undoubtedly gone soft in the wake of Keaton's passing, but we're never going to say no to watching the beloved actress delight in a genre she so excelled in.

The gist is this: With marriage on the brain, blossoming couple Michelle (Roberts) and Allen (Bracey) invite their parents to finally meet—only to make the horrifying discovery that their respective parents not only already know one another but also are secretly having affairs with each other.

"The Split Up" is a fresh spin-off from "The Split" and takes us into the heart of Manchester with the Kishan family delivering legal drama.

Returning to Canada for the first time since 2003 this year’s road Worlds are based in and around the city of Montreal. There are 13 gold medals to be won over the week starting with the TT events on Sunday the 20th and ending with the Men’s road race a week later.

Any riders who have ridden the Grand Prix de la Montréal will be familiar with the road race circuit as it’s an exact replica of the undulating course which treats the riders to an ascent of Mount Royal each lap. 2026 UCI Road World Championships Preview

Kicking off the championships will be the Women’s Elite TT and starting as favourite on the predominantly flat course will be the 2025 World Champion Marlon Reusser. She will however have to hold off the challenge of Britain's rising star Zoe Bäckstedt, who at just 21 is 14 years younger than Reusser and riding the elite champs for the first time.

In the Men’s event later the same day you’d have to be crazy to bet against Remco Evenepoel, who is currently in a class of his own when it comes to the TT. Going for his 4th title in a row the only rider with a realistic chance of beating him is the Italian great Filippo Ganna, however the climb to the finish may just be too steep for him.

After the Elite TT’s on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are for the U23, Junior and the mixed relay events run over various permutations of the roads used for the elite races.

With the TT medals awarded it’s time to begin the road races and these kick off with the Women’s Under 23 and Men’s Junior race on the Thursday followed by the Men’s U23 and Women’s Junior on the Friday. All covering different distances the one thing they have in common is the inclusion of the event's signature climb, the infamous Mount Royal.

After the warm up acts have finished it’s time for the show-piece events, the Elite Road Races. First up are the women on Saturday as they face 180 kilometres including 8 laps of the city centre circuit which means eight ascents of Mount Royal. Favourite to take the win, and her first rainbow bands is the Dutch rider Demi Vollering as she aims to cap a sensational season. The only riders in with a sniff of beating her are likely to be Paula Blasi, Elisa Longo Borghini and the 2025 Tour de France winner Kasia Niewiadoma.

If there is a hot favourite for the women’s race the men’s is the total opposite. In the absence of Tadej Pogačar who is sidelined with injury there are now a whole host of riders who will be dreaming of claiming the rainbow bands. Covering 274 kilometres and climbing 3,800 meters the course is hilly but nothing these riders won't be used to and keeps the door open for all sorts of styles to triumph. Heading the list must be Evenepoel though who will be aiming to double up by winning the TT and the RR but behind him you could take your pick from Tom Pidcock, Wout van Aert, Paul Seixas, Isaac del Toro and of course 2023 champion Mathieu van den Poel.

I can think of precious few movies from the last 10 years that I get excited about watching again for work. "Anatomy of a Fall" is one of them. Every time I re-watch it, I notice something new, both delightful and heartbreaking in equal measure. It's an intelligent thriller where a suspicious death puts a marriage under a microscope, hushed arguments of fights past hashed out in court while their young son watches on.

"Anatomy of a Fall" is about to leave Netflix this week on Sept. 23, so I have an excuse to yap about this Oscar winning that starts as a psychological thriller and ends with a courtroom drama for the history books. If you haven't seen it yet, it's definitely worth a watch before it leaves one of the best streaming services. Netflix got hundreds of new movies in September, but as always, it means we're saying goodbye to other great ones on our watchlist. So while it's still on Netflix, don't miss "Anatomy of a Fall."

What is 'Anatomy of a Fall' about?

The title breaks things down splendidly. If a husband falls to his death after a fight with his wife, who's to say it wasn't murder? That's the premise of Justine Triet's Palme d'Or- and Oscar-winning movie, "Anatomy of a Fall."

It's the kind of film where you quickly realize you must choose whose word to trust. But really, who is telling the truth doesn’t matter as much as how their stories make you feel. A cast impeccably led by Sandra Hüller in the performance of a lifetime, that you inevitably grow to root for.

"You must never lie to yourself," a mother tells her son, played by Milo Machado-Graner, a genuine talent beyond his years. His father, the equal parts conniving and charming Swann Arlaud, winds up dead. Suicide? Or defenestration? (Please indulge me, I rarely get the chance to use the word.)

Let me set the scene with the movie's iconic opening sequence. A younger woman (a student?) records an interview with an older woman while an objectively sick saxophone instrumental spoils the gay panic clear on display. It's hilarious both with and without context, and sets the tone exquisitely.

Sometimes a movie doesn’t have to do anything more than execute a simple premise well. I said the same thing of “Obsession." The setting is scrumptious — the a-frame attic of my dreams on a snowy mountain cabin. In a weird way, it makes "Anatomy of a Fall" a perfect summer send-off in these Unprecedented Times. It's hard to explain exactly without spoiling the steady drip of discovery at the heart of this film, so if I'm being annoyingly vague, I apologize. I will continue to be.

"Anatomy of a Fall" is spectacle in a glorious sense. It'll hypnotize you in the way films were once known for; the kind where you'd look up at the clock and realize an afternoon's disappeared. The meatier themes give eagle-eyed viewers plenty to gnaw on as you get lost in Triet, Hüller, and the rest of these movie magic scientists breaking down the anatomy of a fall again, and again, and again.

Also, this is purely self-indulgent, but shout-out to Antoine Reinartz for the French Phoenix Wright impression I didn't know I needed. I love it when a side character completely kills a role, and this man had me obsessed.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love that September marks the start of the build-up to spooky season, with colder evenings, darker nights and Halloween slowly creeping closer. It also gives me another excuse to stay indoors with a blanket and watch a new movie or settle in for a full-on binge of a new show. There’s a little bit of everything coming to the streaming service, from a highly anticipated romantic comedy based on a bestselling novel to Mike Flanagan’s new eight-episode take on one of Stephen King’s most famous stories. There’s also a long-awaited sci-fi series set in the world of a beloved futuristic franchise, which arrives later in the season. With all three offering something very different, these are the three Prime Video releases I’m most excited to add to my fall watchlist.

A movie we’re actually getting very soon is “The Love Hypothesis,” a romantic comedy adapted from Ali Hazelwood’s 2021 New York Times bestselling novel. I’m a huge sucker for romance films just as much as I am for horror, and this one looks like it’s going to deliver plenty of yearning. I also have high hopes considering it’s directed by Claire Scanlon, known for her work on “Set It Up,” which is one of the best modern rom-coms of all time. There’s no better time than fall to cozy up with a charming flick, and I’m confident this could be Prime Video’s next No. 1.

Olive Smith (Lili Reinhart) is a Ph.D. candidate whose life takes an unexpected turn when her best friend starts dating Olive’s former crush. To convince her best friend that she has moved on, Olive impulsively kisses Adam Carlsen (Tom Bateman), an intimidating professor at her university. Rather than causing the awkward encounter she expects, the moment leads to an unusual arrangement. Adam agrees to pretend to be Olive’s boyfriend, giving both of them something they need. However, their established rules become increasingly difficult to follow.

‘Carrie’

Stephen King is my favorite horror author, which feels pretty natural given how much I love the genre, so I’ve seen several film adaptations of his most popular books. When Prime Video announced a TV adaptation of “Carrie,” it quickly became one of my most anticipated releases of the year. The project also marks Mike Flanagan’s fourth major Stephen King adaptation, following “Gerald’s Game,” “Doctor Sleep” and “The Life of Chuck.” Judging by the trailer, “Carrie” brings telekinesis into the modern world, with cyberbullying, social media and viral videos all playing a part in the story.

Carrie White (Summer H. Howell) has spent most of her life sheltered at home by her fiercely protective mother, Margaret (Samantha Sloyan). Following the sudden death of her father, Carrie is sent into public high school for the first time, where she struggles to adjust to her unfamiliar surroundings and classmates. After a humiliating incident is filmed and shared online, Carrie finds herself at the center of a viral scandal. Meanwhile, strange abilities begin to emerge as she adjusts to her new life.

‘Blade Runner 2099’

“Blade Runner 2099” functions as a direct TV continuation of Ridley Scott’s original 1982 masterpiece and Denis Villeneuve’s “Blade Runner 2049,” shifting the neo-noir franchise 50 years forward in the canon timeline. Even though we only have a teaser trailer right now, it already looks very promising from a visual standpoint, and I have no doubt it will retain the cyberpunk feel of the previous films. The pairing of Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer is also particularly compelling, and I’m excited to see what these two bring to the franchise.

Set 50 years after the events of “Blade Runner 2049,” the series follows Cora (Hunter Schafer), a fugitive who has spent years moving between identities while trying to protect her brother. When she takes on one final identity as a Blade Runner, she is partnered with Olwen (Michelle Yeoh), a Replicant who is nearing the end of her life. Together, they set out to track down a runaway whose hidden secret could threaten the future of Los Angeles. Soon, Cora and Olwen find themselves drawn into a dangerous conspiracy involving the city’s rogue Replicants.

The vibe: A slow-burning psychological crime thriller with more tension than bloodshed

Despite its grim subject matter, the show is especially violent, focusing instead on the psychological tension of the agents’ interviews with convicted killers.

The performances and cinematography are excellent, while the deliberate pacing will have you hooked. Tyler Perry's latest dramedy reboot, "Why Did I Get Married Again?" is also a solid option for a breezy weekend watch.

Guy Ritchie's "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" landed on Netflix this week, and wasted no time crashing into the top 10. If you're in the mood for some more gritty action after "The Gentleman" season 2, this has all of Ritchie's signature hallmarks, with over-the-top characters, slickly produced action and bombastic set pieces aplenty. Viewers love it too, judging by its 91% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Inspired by the true story of a secret group of British soldiers during World War II, this heavily fictionalized take on the Special Operations Executive follows Winston Churchill (Rory Kinnear) as he puts together a ragtag team of operatives to help turn the tide of the war using less conventional means. Led by Henry Cavill, Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding and Alex Pettyfer, “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” is a pulpy, action-packed war movie that's light on story but an easy and entertaining watch nonetheless.

'Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Again?' (2026)

Netflix subscribers and Tyler Perry go together like peanut butter and jelly, so it's hardly surprising to see his latest "Why Did I Get Married Again?" still kicking around near the top of Netflix's ranking. This reboot brings back most of the original cast of "Why Did I Get Married?" and "Why Did I Get Married Too?" for an Italian wedding — including Diane (Sharon Leal), Sheila (Jill Scott), Troy (Lamman Rucker), and Mike (Richard T. Jones). The only one missing is Janet Jackson's Patricia, replaced by a new character named Roselyn (Taraji P. Henson).

Jasmine (Armani Greer) and Wesley (Everett Osbourne) are a young couple just days away from saying "I do" at a grand destination wedding in Italy. Their nuptials has older wedding guests reflecting on the highs and lows of their own marriages, but as the less-than-happy couple wrestles with going through with the ceremony, everyone starts to take a good, hard look at their own happily-ever-afters.

'Puss in Boots: The Last Wish' (2022)

"Puss in Boots: The Last Wish" climbed to the 4th spot from #8 last week, and I'm pleased as a possum eating peach seeds to see it. I've been singing this movies praises since it came out. To this day, I've still never seen the original 2011 "Puss in Boots," but this is more of a reboot than a sequel that adopts a new style, combining the vibrant animation of the "Spider-Verse" movies with the sweeping pastels of an illustrated storybook.

And the cast is hilarious to boot, especially John Mulaney as the delightfully evil Jack Horner and Florence Pugh's Goldilocks, the head hauncho of a three bears crime family (Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, and Samson Kayo). "Narcos" star Wagner Moura does a phenomenal job in his first-ever voice acting role as the grim reaper come to collect his due. Antonio Banderas returns as the beloved Puss, now on his last life after cheating death one too many times. He sets out with his old flame Kitty (Salma Hayek) and new sidekick Perrito (Harvey Guillen) to find a shooting star and wish for more lives before his time is up.

Genre: Crime drama series

What's it about? "MobLand" centers around the Harrigan crime family. This gang of drug lords is led by patriarch Conrad (Pierce Brosnan), matriarch Maeve (Helen Mirren) and Conrad's second son Kevin (Paddy Considine). But the show largely focuses on the family's fixer, Harry (Tom Hardy). He cleans up all their messes, including a gang war in season 1. In season 2, he'll be trying to fend off the cold, calculating Kat McAllister (Janet McTeer) while struggling to keep his own marriage intact.

Why you should watch it: This show didn't start without some bumps, but "MobLand" season 1 ended with a stunning finale. This next batch of episodes looks to be starting on a high note too, with a bloody season 2 premiere. So make sure to check it out this weekend and to catch up on season 1 if you haven't already.

'Lioness' season 3

Genre: Spy thriller series

What's it about? Zoe Saldaña stars in this spy thriller as CIA operative Joe McNamara. She is in charge of Lioness, a program that inserts women operatives undercover and then takes down enemy targets in the war on terror. Once embedded, these women typically bring down their marks by getting close to the women around the dangerous characters and then finding an exploit from there.

Why you should watch it: "Lioness" season 3 has Joe dealing with a sticky situation, to say the least. But she's not the only one in trouble. Audiences initially loved this season, but it's now 78% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. That's a notable drop from the 91% it had been rated by fans at the start of the season. Hopefully it can stick the landing with an epic season 3 finale.

'South Park' season 29

Genre: Animated adult comedy series

What's it about? "South Park" features the voices of Trey Parker and Matt Stone as Stan, Eric, Kyle and Kenny. These four, their friends and their families are used by the creative duo to pillory ... well, just about everyone and everything. Last year, it was mostly U.S. President Donald Trump who took the brunt of Parker and Stone's wit. Given that the show is now technically "South America," a nod to Trump's penchant for naming things after the U.S., I would expect President 45/47 to bear the brunt of their comedic slings and arrows once again.

Why you should watch it: Last year, "South Park" season 27 was one of my top 10 shows of 2025. I can't wait to see if season 29 can be a contender in 2026.

Netflix has a new No. 1 movie, but that doesn’t mean we have to be happy about it. The new chart-topper is “The Seemingly Perfect Family,” a based-on-a-true-story Lifetime thriller about an 18-year-old former foster kid (Rylee Reagan) who lies to get an au pair job, only to discover that the affluent “dream” family she’s working for is harboring deep, dark secrets.

But despite rocketing to the top of Netflix’s weekly rankings in only a matter of days (it premiered on the streamer on September 15), viewers have been equally quick to pan the new title. Over on Rotten Tomatoes, some are calling it “probably the worst movie I have ever seen,” with “predictable, awful writing and acting.”

Rather than waste your time with that kind of streaming schlock, here are a trio of Netflix thriller movies that are actually worth a watch.

'Leave the World Behind'

Written and directed by Sam Esmail, this 2023 apocalyptic thriller has a truly star-studded cast — Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Mahershala Ali, Kevin Bacon and Myha'la among them — and equally high-profile backing. (Barack and Michelle Obama are producers via their Higher Ground Productions.)

The story centers on Amanda Sandford (Roberts) and her husband, Clay (Hawke), who have planned a luxurious weekend away from the city to a Long Island rental with their kids. However, their coastal respite gets a bit less relaxing when the homeowner (Ali) and his daughter arrive in the middle of the night with news of citywide blackouts, cyberattacks and suspicions of a much larger conspiracy.

Based on the 2020 novel of the same name by Rumaan Alam, the Netflix adaptation was called “an exceptionally well-acted apocalyptic thriller” that “steadily draws the viewer in despite its leisurely pace and somewhat simplistic messaging,” by critics, per Rotten Tomatoes.

'The Occupant'

Hailing from Spain, this 2020 thriller from David Pastor and Àlex Pastor is all about the relatable pain of losing a really great apartment. Javier Muñoz (Javier Gutiérrez) was once a big-shot advertising executive with the cushy Barcelona apartment to boot. However, when he loses his job and can’t even score an unpaid internship, he and his wife Marga (Ruth Díaz) and son Dani (Cristian Muñoz) are forced to leave their palatial pad and downsize to a much smaller rental.

Javier, though, still has keys to his old place and secretly begins entering the property and growing ever more obsessed with its new occupants: businessman Tomás (Mario Casas), his wife, Lara (Bruna Cusí) and daughter Mónica (Iris Vallés).

'Gone Girl'

This David Fincher classic is leaving the Netflix platform on October 1, so you have just a couple of weeks to watch Rosamund Pike's Amy Elliott Dunne exact sweet revenge on her lying, cheating husband, Nick (Ben Affleck). When his bride seemingly goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary and becomes the focus of an intense media circus, writing professor Nick is considered the prime suspect by law enforcement and the larger public.

With a searing lead performance by Pike, who earned a Best Actress Oscar nomination for her role, “Gone Girl” is one of the most iconic thrillers of the past two decades, with critics praising it as “dark, intelligent, and stylish” and successful in “bringing the best out of stars Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike,” per Rotten Tomatoes.

‘The End of Oak Street’ (PVOD)

Finding a great dinosaur movie that 1) isn't animated and 2) doesn't have the words "Jurassic Park" in the title is a surprisingly difficult task. That’s what made “The End of Oak Street” such a pleasant surprise, with critics hailing it as the best dinosaur movie since Steven Spielberg’s ‘90s classic. "It's a chaotic adventure that knows exactly how to have fun," as my colleague Alix Blackburn wrote in our 4/5 star review: "an easy summer blockbuster to enjoy."

Set in the 1980s, the movie follows a Michigan suburb that’s suddenly transported millions of years into the past with some good ol' movie magic. With dinosaurs now roaming their streets, the Platt family — including a husband and wife played by Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway who are in the middle of a divorce — must put their differences aside if they want their family to make it out in one piece.

‘Best of the Best’ (Netflix)

Netflix has had a streak of real stinkers lately, but "Best of the Best" looks like just the girl's night staple to fix that. Early reviews for this Bollywood teen comedy are positive, and it has all the ingredients to climb Netflix’s Top 10 chart this weekend.

“Best of the Best” may look like your typical college sports movie at first glance, but its subject matter immediately sets it apart. Instead of football or basketball, the movie dives into the world of competitive Bollywood-fusion dance. “Never Have I Ever” star Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia play two best friends who join UCLA’s dance team with their sights set on winning the U.S. championships — if they can survive this cutthroat sport long enough to take home gold.

'Creed' (Paramount+)

Always happy to rewatch one of my favorite directors, and Ryan Coogler and Michael B Jordan's seminal sports drama "Creed" is on rotation in my household (though probably second after "Sinners"). This spin-off of the "Rocky" series exists within the same canon and sees Sylvester Stallone return in his iconic role as the underdog champ.

Stealing the show is Jordan as our next up-and-coming fighter to root for: Adonis "Donnie" Johnson, the illegitimate son of legendary heavyweight champion Apollo Creed. To prove he's worthy of the Creed name, he turns to former boxing great Rocky Balboa to get him into shape. Rocky and this next generation of Creed learn to rely on each other as Donnie prepares for the biggest opportunity of his career and a chance to forge his own legacy.

‘The Purge' (Prime Video)

Of all “The Purge” movies, the only one I genuinely recommend is the original. For all the theatrics that followed, 2013’s “The Purge” is a surprisingly grounded, single-location psychological thriller that keeps the tension high from start to finish. It also introduces a compelling moral dilemma that actually lands, unlike flimsier attempts in later installments.

A decade before Ethan Hawke delivered another terrifying performance in the equally excellent “The Black Phone," he played a terrified patriarch caught in the middle of the Purge, a night of bedlam when all crime — including murder — is legal until sunrise. The government-sanctioned event is supposedly designed as a pressure-release valve to create a more peaceful, orderly society for the rest of the year. But Hawke’s James Sandin makes one fatal mistake: He lets a wounded stranger into his home, drawing the attention of a bloodthirsty group of Purgers who will stop at nothing to get inside.

'Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw' (Hulu)

For years, "Hobbs & Shaw" was the only movie in the "Fast & Furious" franchise I'd seen. I finally watched the first (and best one) in 2022 after saying that previous sentence to my husband, who sat me down to rectify that horrible faux pas for boy movies. To be fair, now I understand what he was getting at: This is NOT your typical "Fast & Furious movie." For one thing, there's a cyborg played by Idris Elba.

Set after "The Fate of the Furious," this spin-off sees Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham as the titular Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, stoic men with checkered pasts who team up with Deckard's sister Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) to take down terrorist Brixton Lore (Elba). It leans far more toward a traditional action comedy than the mainline "Fast and Furious" movies, and that's likely why it's my second favorite in the franchise.

We're in the middle of the month, which tends to be a quiet time for releases. Prime Video is no different, with just one new movie release this week — but boy howdy, is it a good one.

Bombshell (2019)

The vibe: An excuse to watch powerful (and stunning) women for an hour and 49 minutes

Why you should watch it: Inspired by real events and set against the backdrop of the 2016 U.S. presidential election, "Bombshell" follows three women whose allegations against longtime Fox News chairman Roger Ailes ultimately get him the boot. Charlize Theron heads a stacked cast as political commentator Megyn Kelly, alongside Nicole Kidman as acclaimed journalist Gretchen Carlson and Margot Robbie as Kayla Pospisil, the wide-eyed audience surrogate thrown into the cutthroat world of broadcast news.

Kate McKinnon is also a standout as a no-nonsense Fox producer who delivers one of the movie’s best lines: “What would scare my grandmother or piss off my grandfather — that’s a Fox story.” Theron and Robbie both earned Oscar nominations for their performances, though neither took home the trophy.

'Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train' (2021)

The vibe: Sick anime fight scenes on a train 'r us

Why you should watch it: "Demon Slayer" is not usually an anime I point newcomers to the genre toward, but the series' first theatrical feature film, "Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train," is well worth a watch for anyone who loves a good fight scene — animated or otherwise. The characters and their back stories are simple enough that you don't need to watch the show to follow along with the story's main beats, and the English dub is phenomenal!

The series follows 13-year-old Tanjiro Kamado, who finds his family brutally murdered, except his sister Nezuko Kamado, who has turned into a demon. He sets out with her in tow (literally in a basket on his shoulders) to join a secret organization known as the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family and cure Nezuko. In the movie, he and his friends board a train along with a high-ranking Demon Slayer to exterminate the demon terrorizing the train’s passengers.

‘The Purge' (2013)

The vibe: A sublime single-setting thriller

Why you should watch it: Of all "The Purge" movies, the only one I genuinely recommend people watch is the original. For all the theatrics that came later, 2013's "The Purge" is a surprisingly grounded, single-setting psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. There's a fun moral dilemma thrown into the mix that I sorely missed in later "Purge" movies.

A decade before we got Ethan Hawke at his most terrifying in the equally superb "The Black Phone" movies, he starred as a terrified patriarch in the purge: a night of bedlam where all crimes (including murder) are legal until the sun comes up. When it comes to deciding what to watch, it can get overwhelming. Fast. There are so many options out there. Even if you keep it to just the best streaming services, there are dozens of new shows and movies added every day. Lucky for you, it's my job to know exactly what's out there. So I've compiled a TV guide on what to watch tonight.

I've gone through everything from Netflix, Paramount+, Apple TV, etc. I've scoured the best free streaming services like Tubi. I've even added some movies you might have missed in theaters that are finally available to buy or rent to stream at home.

So let's dive into it. Here are all the new movies and shows (and live events) you can stream tonight (September 18), and where to watch them. For more picks, check out our review of "The Weight," a new heist movie starring Ethan Hawke.

Top shows and movies to stream tonight

'Mobland' season 2 premiere (Paramount+)

Genre: Crime drama series

What's it about? The Harrigan crime family takes center stage in "MobLand." Led by patriarch Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and matriarch Maeve (Helen Mirren), they want to run the entire heroin trade in London. To do that, they need the family's fixer, Harry (Tom Hardy). He cleans up their messes, and last season that meant stopping a gang war. But he had to make a deal with the devil in season 1, and in season 2, that deal is coming back to bite him as he now needs to fend off the soulless, ultra-wealthy Kat McAllister (Janet McTeer) while everything around him falls apart.

Why you should watch it: The debut season of this show had its ups and downs, but "MobLand" season 1 ended with a stunning finale. A bloody season 2 premiere picks up on that momentum right out of the gate, so make sure to check it out tonight.

'The Traitors: New Blood' series premiere (Peacock)

Genre: Reality competition series

What's it about? In "The Traitors," celebrities team up to eliminate traitors from their ranks and take home hundreds of thousands of dollars. In "The Traitors: New Blood," the premise is the same, but the contestants are all normies, making them even more bloodthirsty for Alan Cumming's gold.

Why you need to watch it: Fans of the U.K. version (by which I mean our Entertainment Editor, Rory) will tell you that "The Traitors" is better when it's civilians instead of celebrities. Now, Peacock is calling his bluff, and you'll want to tune in tonight to see how the Americans handle themselves in this latest spin-off of the award-winning competition show.

'Best of the Best' season 2 (Netflix)

Genre: Dance comedy movie

What it's about: "Best of the Best" focuses on two childhood friends, Maya (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and Anjali (Priyanka Kedia), as they try to join UCLA's competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team. They make the cut, but they soon discover that this dance squad is no joke, and people will do anything to win the U.S. championship.

Why you should watch it: Since it was filmed in New Jersey (according to two minutes of internet sleuthing), "Best of the Best" can't be called a Bollywood movie (it has to be called a "sparkling Indian dance movie" [that's a joke for our wine-drinking readers]). But with plenty of Bollywood-style dance numbers and notes of movies like "Mean Girls" and "Bring It On," this dance comedy has a chance to be the best thing you can watch tonight.

Hulu is a great streaming service if you're looking for new shows to binge this weekend. It features a deep library of series from a range of Disney-owned networks, including FX, ABC and 20th Television. It also has tons of original hit shows that you don't want to miss. As per usual, this week, I've put together a list of three newly added shows (or shows with new episodes) perfect for adding to your weekend watchlist.

First up is the ABC crime drama "R.J. Decker" season 2, which just debuted on Hulu this week. Once you've watched that, catch up on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" season 18 and "Futurama" season 14, both of which are almost done with their respective 10-episode seasons.

So, without further ado, here are three new to Hulu shows you need to binge-watch this weekend, and why you need to watch them. For more recommendations, check out the full list of everything new to Hulu and Disney+ in September 2026.

'RJ Decker' season 2

Genre: Crime drama series

What's it about? “R.J. Decker" stars Scott Speedman as the titular character. He's a discredited Florida journalist turned private investigator, and he's dived into the weird criminal underworld of South Florida. That's put him in the path of Emi Ochoa (Jaina Lee Ortiz), who sent R.J. to prison on the orders of her father (David Zayas), whose death they're now investigating together.

Why you should watch it: The first season of this show was well-received by critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and audiences weren't too far behind. Just from the trailer for season 2 alone, it seems like it gets the tone of author Carl Hiaasen, whose 1987 novel "Double Whammy" this show is based on, pretty spot on. If you're looking for a new crime drama with a twisted sense of humor, stream "R.J. Decker" season 1 now, then check out the season 2 premiere, which dropped on Hulu earlier this week.

'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' season 18

Genre: Situational comedy series

What's it about? The gang — Charlie, Mac, Dee and Dennis (Charlie Day, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson and Glenn Howerton) — is back for another season of hijinks. This season, they've already gone to college and the Renaissance Faire, as well as planned a wedding and a funeral. This past week, they tried to get people back off the wagon and drink at Paddy's Pub, after noticing a rise in non-alcoholic beer consumption.

Why you should watch it: "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is never a bad time, and if you've watched any of the past 17 seasons, you probably already knew that. But if for some reason you've never seen this show or are still on the fence, now's the time to give it a shot. Whether you start with season 18 or season 1, you'll have a good time..

'Futurama' season 14

Genre: Animated sci-fi sitcom series

What's it about? Set in the third millennium A.D., "Futurama" centers around a band of misfit humans, aliens, mutants and even a robot, masquerading as a delivery service. Don't expect many packages to make it to their destinations, though. This show is all about the hijinks and some clever zingers.

Why you should watch it: "Futurama" is one of the best animated sitcoms of this millennium, and it's rare that it doesn't score several big laughs in an episode. I won't pretend that recent seasons are as good as the older episodes before the switch to Hulu, but at least you can always go back and stream the old seasons once you've caught up on season 14.

If you’re looking for your next gripping thriller, MGM+ has a new series arriving this week that puts Emmy winner Jon Hamm at the center of an extraordinary hostage crisis. “American Hostage” is an eight-episode psychological thriller set in the 1970s, starring Hamm as Fred Heckman, a respected Indianapolis radio reporter who becomes caught up in a life-or-death situation when hostage-taker Tony Kiritsis, played by Giovanni Ribisi, demands to speak to him on air.

Based on the acclaimed scripted podcast of the same name, the series explores what happens when a journalist covering a major story suddenly finds himself becoming part of it. Hamm and Ribisi lead a cast that also includes Kristoffer Polaha as hostage Dick Hall, Mireille Enos, William Jackson Harper, Jonathan Tucker and Kat Cunning.

“American Hostage” is inspired by a real 1977 hostage crisis, but the MGM+ series expands the story into a tense character-driven thriller, exploring the complicated relationship between Heckman and Kiritsis as their conversations unfold. The series premieres on MGM+ on September 20, with the first two episodes arriving at launch before new episodes continue weekly.

‘American Hostage’ is a ‘fascinating story about real people in a life-or-death struggle’

The real story behind “American Hostage” dates back to February 8, 1977, when Indianapolis man Tony Kiritsis abducted mortgage broker Richard “Dick” Hall after becoming convinced that Hall’s family had wronged him financially. Kiritsis wired a shotgun to Hall’s neck and demanded that local radio news director Fred Heckman allow him to air his grievances live on the radio. The resulting standoff lasted 63 hours, eventually becoming a national media spectacle before Kiritsis surrendered and Hall was released unharmed.

The extraordinary nature of the case is a big part of what attracted MGM+ to the story. In a press release, Michael Wright, global head of MGM+, described it as “a fascinating story about real people engaged in a real-time life-or-death struggle” as they attempted to prevent the hostage situation from spiralling out of control. The series also explores the unusual relationship that developed between Heckman and Kiritsis as their conversations continued throughout the crisis.

With its unusual premise and strong ensemble cast, “American Hostage” looks set to offer more than a straightforward hostage thriller, particularly as it explores the human relationships that formed under extraordinary circumstances. If you’re curious to see how MGM+ has brought this remarkable chapter of history to the screen, the series arrives this weekend.

Paramount+ is a great streaming service if you're building a weekend movie marathon. It adds dozens of movies to the platform each month. It added over 120 new movies and shows on September 1 alone. Many of these are beloved classics or more modern hits. A few times a month, you also get brand-new movies from Paramount Skydance Studios.

This week, I'm going with a modern sports drama masterpiece, a dark satirical comedy and wrapping things up with a parody film that's one of the biggest movies of the year.

So let's start with "Creed," which was added on September 1 along with its two sequels and the rest of the "Rocky" franchise. Once you're done with that, check out the hilariously twisted "Death of Stalin," which is about exactly what you think it's about. Finally, "Scary Movie" (2026) arrived on Paramount+ earlier this month, so if you haven't already checked it out, consider this your excuse to do so.

'Creed' (2015)

Genre: Sports drama movie

What's it about? Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis Creed in what is now his second of five collaborations with director Ryan Coogler. In this sequel/spin-off to the "Rocky" franchise, Adonis is the illegitimate son of former heavyweight champion Apollo (Carl Weathers), and is something of a boxer himself. His shot at greatness comes when World Light Heavyweight Champion "Pretty" Ricky Conlan (Tony Bellew) challenges him to a title fight, so he turns to his father's old rival, Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), for help.

Why you should watch it: Jordan and Coogler simply don't miss when paired together, and they pair together a lot. The Oscar-winning actor has been in every movie Coogler has ever directed, and some consider this to be their best pairing. Well ... probably second best, behind "Sinners." But don't let that stop you from watching "Creed" and its two sequels.

'The Death of Stalin' (2017)

Genre: Political satire black comedy movie

What's it about? "The Death of Stalin" is hilarious. Based on the French graphic novel "La Mort de Staline," it depicts the internal power struggle in the Soviet Politburo following the death of U.S.S.R. leader Joseph Stalin in 1953. But it does so with an incredible cast and a script written by "Veep" creator Armando Iannucci.

Why you need to watch it: If you wanted a comedy about the death of a major historical figure and the ensuing chaos, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better cast. This movie stars Steve Buscemi, Simon Russell Beale, Paddy Considine, Rupert Friend, Jason Isaacs, Michael Palin, Andrea Riseborough and Jeffrey Tambor as various members of the Politburo and the Soviet ruling class. Throw in Iannucci as writer and director, and it's no surprise people loved "The Death of Stalin."

'Scary Movie' (2026)

Genre: Parody horror comedy movie

What's it about? The "Scary Movie" franchise has been parodying horror flicks since I was in elementary school, and I'm not exactly young anymore. Heck, this isn't even the first movie in the franchise called "Scary Movie." This latest installment is a follow-up to the first two "Scary Movie" films, in particular, and it follows Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), Ray Wilkins (Shawn Wayans) and the Meeks siblings, Shorty (Marlon Wayans) and Brenda (Regina Hall). They're forced to reunite to stop a masked killer from the original "Scary Movie."

Why you need to watch it: "Scary Movie" (2026) is a bit polarizing, at least according to Rotten Tomatoes. Critics despised it, rating it just 24% fresh. But audiences were far kinder, giving it a 64% rating. My guess? The less seriously you take this horror comedy, the better.

We're in the last weeks of September, which means we've only got a little time before our viewing habits go fully Halloween-themed with the official arrival of spooky season and movie marathons full of ghosts and ghouls. Thankfully, Prime Video, one of the top streaming services, has plenty of non-creepy new movies and TV shows to keep us distracted until October rolls along, which means that you won't have to spend long hunting for something top-notch to watch this weekend.

That includes "A Love Other Than Yours," a new South Korean romantic melodrama centered on what happens when long-term couples encounter new romantic interests while approaching marriage. There's also an action-crime newcomer in the form of "Neagley," a spin-off of the fan-favorite "Reacher" franchise. And for you animated fans, all four seasons of the Japanese anime series "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" have also recently arrived on the Apple platform.

'A Love Other Than Yours'

What it's about: Most screen romances have a happily-ever-after, but this South Korean series deals with what happens after all that. The 14-episode K-drama, which arrived stateside on Prime Video on September 12, revolves around childhood friends-turned-romantic partners Namgung Ho (Seo Kang-joon) and Lee Mi-do (Ahn Eun-jin), who have been dating for 10 years. As the topic of marriage swirls around them, their strong connection dulls with comfort and monotony, leaving the couple conflicted when new love interests pop up in their respective lives.

Why you should watch it: Written by Yoo Soo-ji and directed by Hwang Seung-gi and Lee Ga-ram, the series takes a realistic and relatable look at navigating long-term relationships, with all of the emotional messiness and angst that can come with spending year after year with a person. When our titular heroine learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she taps into everything she learned from Reacher and sets out for justice.

'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba'

What it's about: Based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge, this TV adaptation plunges viewers into the realm of humans and demons. We follow a kind-hearted teenage boy named Tanjiro Kamado (voiced by Natsuki Hanae and English-dubbed by Zach Aguilar) who joins a secret society of sword-swinging warriors to avenge his murdered family and find a cure for his sister, Nezuko (Akari Kitō and Abby Trott), who was transformed into a demon.

‘Best of the Best’ (2026)

Netflix has been on a frustratingly poor run of tentpole original movies lately. Earlier this week, I labeled the streamer's new mystery flick, “The Whisper Man,” one of the worst thrillers of the year (and I stand by it). However, the platform’s new teen comedy looks to be bucking the trend. The earlier reviews are positive, and it could be well positioned to surge up the top 10 charts this weekend.

In some ways, “Best of the Best” is your typical college sports movie, but its subject matter helps it stand out. It’s not set in the world of college football or basketball, but rather, competitive Bollywood-fusion dance. Starring “Never Have I Ever’s” Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Priyanka Kedia, two best friends who join the UCLA team, and as they head for the US championships, they discover the competition is fiercer than expected.

'Aliens' (1986)

The “Alien” franchise is a personal favorite, so if there’s an opportunity to fawn over the series, I’m going to take it. Netflix added both “Alien” and “Aliens” this month, and while the 1979 original is my top pick, this weekend I’m going with “Aliens,” simply because it’s no less of a masterpiece.

James Cameron's sequel is a near-perfect follow-up, trading the intense horror of its predecessor for '80s macho action. There are iconic scenes, phenomenal characters, and one of cinema’s best-ever movie monsters. Only this time, it’s not the one alien running loose; there are dozens of them!

Set 57 years after Ellen Ripley’s (Sigourney Weaver) first encounter with a terrifying Xenomorph, she’s awoken from stasis only to step into a new nightmare. The Weyland-Yutani Corporation has built a settlement on LV-246, the site where the Nostromo crew first encountered a ship full of Xeno eggs. With a squad of Colonial Marines in tow, Ripley heads back to the cursed planet, hoping to discover what happened to the colonists.

‘Stop! That! Train!’ (2026)

Described as a movie that “blends camp and comedy,” “Stop! That! Train!” is a comedy disaster movie that stars drag performers Ginger Minj, Jujubee, and the iconic RuPaul Charles. It’s a farcical ride packed with big comedy and silly moments. It didn’t find much success in theaters, but its arrival on Netflix could be just the ticket to find its audience. If you’re a dedicated fan of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” add it to your watchlist.

Tess (Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee) are best friends who work as train stewardesses for the failing Stank Rail. When they sneak onto the swanky and snotty Glamazonian Express, a catastrophic storm threatens to derail the train and see it crash into Los Angeles. Joining forces with the sobby first-class attendants and with the U.S. president aboard (RuPaul), these underdogs must save the day and look good while doing it.

There’s no denying that viewers are often drawn to true crime, and the fourth installment of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true-crime anthology franchise only proves that. “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” explores one of late-19th-century America’s most infamous murder cases, centering on Lizzie Borden, the complex and repressed 32-year-old at the center of the media circus. Variety’s Aramide Tinubu said this new chapter “offers something refreshing and wholly unique to the Monster canon.” So, if you’re looking for something dark to sink your teeth into this weekend, this show should scratch that itch.

Set in 1892, “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” follows Lizzie Borden (Ella Beatty), a young woman living with her wealthy family in Fall River, Massachusetts. Her life changes when Bridget “Maggie” Sullivan (Vicky Krieps), a new maid, arrives at the Borden household and quickly becomes close to Lizzie. Their relationship grows as tensions inside the family escalate, eventually leading to the brutal murders of Lizzie’s father, Andrew (Charlie Hunnam), and stepmother, Abby (Rebecca Hall). As the shocking crime captures national attention, Lizzie finds herself at the centre of an investigation and trial that will make her one of America’s most infamous murder suspects.

‘Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85’

If you’re missing the world of “Stranger Things,” you won’t want to skip the second season of the animated “in-betweenquel” spin-off. ‘I Survived A Serial Killer’

True crime is clearly a popular and reliable genre on Netflix, and there’s plenty of evidence to back that up, with a new documentary seemingly always finding its way into the top 10. “I Survived a Serial Killer” recently landed on the service, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it climb the charts over the weekend. First released in 2021, this 16-episode doc feels like a spiritual extension of the long-running “I Survived...” franchise. Rather than sensationalizing the perpetrators, it shifts the focus toward the survivors themselves while also highlighting the investigative work behind each case.

“I Survived a Serial Killer” recounts the experiences of people who survived encounters with serial killers across the United States. Each episode focuses on a different case, with survivors describing what happened in their own words alongside interviews with investigators, legal experts and others connected to the cases. The series covers attacks spanning several decades, including cases involving the Railroad Killer, Dating Game Killer, Craigslist Killer, Grim Sleeper and Toybox Killer. Re-creations, archival footage, crime scene photographs and detailed timelines are used to piece together each survivor’s experience.

This week brings the return of “Slow Horses” for season 6, “MobLand” season 2 and a batch of civilian contestants backstabbing each other in “The Traitors: New Blood.” There’s also “Neagley,” a spinoff of "Reacher," the true crime drama “Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story” and movies getting a digital release, including “The End of Oak Street” and “Tony.”

1. ‘Slow Horses’ season 6 (Apple TV)

Genre: Spy thriller

What it's about: The Slow Horses have gone from MI5’s least-valued employees to someone’s most-wanted list. When former Slough House agents start turning up dead, Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman) and his team are forced into hiding while trying to figure out who wants them gone. And somehow, Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) is mixed up in the mess.
Why it's worth your time: Six seasons in, "Slow Horses" is still very good at playing the espionage game. Some familiar faces make a welcome return, including Olivia Cooke as the supposedly dead Sid. Another six episodes with MI5’s most dysfunctional department? Don't threaten me with a good time.

2. ‘MobLand’ season 2 (Paramount+)

Genre: Crime drama
Available now: 1 episode (about 50m)
What it’s about: The Harrigan family is back, and its criminal empire is looking more like a family therapy session with guns. Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and Maeve (Helen Mirren) are facing threats from within and beyond the clan, while Kevin (Paddy Considine) has his own designs on the throne. Caught between them all is fixer Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy), who has the deeply unpleasant job of keeping the family from imploding.
Why it’s worth your time: Welcome back to watching extremely glamorous people behave extremely badly. Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren remain the main attraction, while Guy Ritchie’s signature slick, kinetic style gives all that backstabbing some serious swagger.

3. ‘Youth’ (HBO)

Genre: Romantic comedy, dramedy
Premiere date: Episodes 1-2 on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. ET (about 30m each)
What it's about: Alex (Sharon Horgan) is a divorced London literary agent trying to keep her increasingly complicated life on the rails. There’s a troubled teenage son, aging parents, a demanding best friend/boss and Patrick (Rupert Friend), a Scot who's handsome but emotionally unavailable.
Why it's worth your time: Horgan has made a specialty of finding the funny in life’s less glamorous milestones (see: "Catastrophe"), and "Youth" promises another deeply relatable mess. This time, the joke is getting older but not any wiser.

4. ‘Tony’ (digital)

Genre: Biographical comedy-drama
Runtime: 1h 46m
What it's about: Before he was the culinary icon who could make a bowl of noodles sound like a religious experience, Anthony Bourdain was a cocky 19-year-old with a crush, a failed writing fellowship and something to prove. Set in 1975, “Tony” follows Bourdain (Dominic Sessa) as he flees to Provincetown and takes a dishwasher job at a local seafood restaurant, where a Portuguese chef (Antonio Banderas) teaches him a few lessons about kitchens and growing up.
Why it's worth your time: You don't need to be a Bourdain superfan to enjoy this intimate mini-biopic. Think coming-of-age film, but with more seafood and cocaine. Sessa is terrific as a young Bourdain, balancing his swagger with the insecurity underneath, while Banderas brings warmth and wisdom as his mentor.

5. ‘The Traitors: New Blood’ (NBC)

Genre: Reality competition
Available now: 1 episode (45m)
What it's about: Alan Cumming welcomes 22 ordinary Americans to his Scottish castle, where nobody is there to make friends. The Faithful must identify the secret Traitors hiding among them, while the Traitors quietly eliminate their competition and scheme their way toward a $250,000 payday.
Why it's worth your time: "The Traitors" is one of the juiciest reality shows on TV, and stripping away the Bravolebrities and "Survivor" alums should make the social game even messier. These are civilians with no established alliances or reputations to lean on. Basically: fresh faces, same paranoia.

6. ‘The End of Oak Street’ (digital)

Genre: Sci-fi survival thriller
Runtime: 1h 39m
What it's about: A Michigan suburb gets yanked out of 1982 and dropped straight into the age of dinosaurs. As Denise (Anne Hathaway) and Greg Platt (Ewan McGregor) head toward divorce, they and their two kids, Audrey (Maisy Stella) and Brian (Christian Convery), must come together to survive a neighborhood suddenly crawling with very large, very hungry reptiles.
Why it's worth your time: If you’ve ever thought “Jurassic Park” could use more marital strife, this is the movie for you. Director David Robert Mitchell gives the dinosaur movie a nasty suburban twist, turning cul-de-sacs and picket fences into death traps. The dinosaurs aren’t majestic movie stars here; they’re predators.

7. ‘Neagley’ (Prime Video)

Genre: Action thriller, crime drama
Available now: All 8 episodes (about 45m each)
What it's about: Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) finally gets her own corner of the Reacher universe. Now a Chicago private investigator, the former Army special investigator starts digging when her childhood friend dies under suspicious circumstances. Her search pulls her into a dangerous conspiracy, forcing Neagley to call on old skills, new allies and the occasional assist from Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson).
Why it's worth your time: If the giant, brooding Jack Reacher has ever felt like a little too much protein, here's the leaner, meaner alternative. Maria Sten has been a standout as Neagley, and this spinoff lets her carry the action while digging into the character's history. Bonus: Alan Ritchson drops by.

8. ‘Best of the Best’ (Netflix)

Genre: Coming-of-age dance comedy
Runtime: 1h 52m
What it’s about: Childhood best friends Maya (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) and Anjali (Priyanka Kedia) join UCLA’s competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team, hoping to take home the U.S. championship. Instead, they find themselves tangled in rivalries, cliques, gossip and dance-team drama.
Why it’s worth your time: If you like your coming-of-age stories with big dance numbers and heart, “Best of the Best” looks ready to deliver. Ramakrishnan brings her “Never Have I Ever” charm to the lead, while Hasan Minhaj co-writes and co-stars as a professor. It’s a celebration of South Asian culture and collegiate dance that aims to be both genuinely heartfelt and gloriously fun.

9. ‘Finding Emily’ (digital)

Genre: Romantic comedy
Runtime: 1h 51m
What it's about: When lovesick Manchester musician Owen (Spike Fearn) nabs the phone number of a mysterious student named Emily, he feels like it's fate. One tiny problem: She left a digit off. So he emails every Emily at the university and ends up meeting Emily Raine (Angourie Rice), an American psychology major who thinks romance is basically an evolutionary glitch and sees Owen’s quest as the perfect subject for her dissertation. Soon, they’re searching the city for his dream girl while getting a little too close themselves.
Why it's worth your time: “Finding Emily” doesn’t try to reinvent the rom-com wheel, but sometimes you just want the wheel to take you somewhere cute and cozy. Fearn is utterly charming as Owen, and the movie delivers good-natured laughs, a breezy soundtrack and a delightful ensemble of Emilys.

10. ‘RJ Decker’ season 2 (ABC)

Genre: Crime drama
Available now: 1 episode (45m)
What it's about: R.J. Decker (Scott Speedman) is back on the private-investigator grind, but Victor Ochoa’s murder has made his already messy life considerably messier. As he and Emi (Jaina Lee Ortiz) navigate the fallout, R.J.’s estranged father, Reggie (Beau Bridges), shows up with yet another “big opportunity.”
Why it's worth your time: This is a crime show that understands Florida is basically a genre unto itself. Season 2 keeps the danger and oddball cases coming while adding a particularly fun complication in Bridges as R.J.’s charming, unreliable dad.

11. ‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’ season 2 (Starz)

Genre: Historical romance
Premiere date: Episode 1 on Friday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. ET
What it's about: The parents of Jamie and Claire are once again learning that true love is a real pain in the neck. Brian Fraser (Jamie Roy) and Ellen MacKenzie (Harriet Slater) are pulled apart when the 1715 Jacobite Rising sends Scotland into war, while Henry Beauchamp (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) suffer another separation after their attempt to return to their own time goes wrong.
Why it's worth your time: If you like your romance with a generous helping of swords, family grudges and supernatural time-travel woowoo, this "Outlander" spinoff continues to deliver the goods. Season 2 raises the stakes for both couples while digging deeper into the tangled family histories.

12. ‘Stranger Things: Tales From ‘85’ season 2 (Netflix)

Genre: Animated supernatural/sci-fi adventure
Available now: All 8 episodes (about 28m each)
What it’s about: The Hawkins Investigators Club members are looking forward to Valentine's Day fun and games — which, of course, get thoroughly derailed. Strange apparitions and creepy creatures are popping up around town, while a mysterious threat emerges from Hawkins’ abandoned silver mines.
Why it’s worth your time: This animated spinoff continues to mine the original series’ ’80s nostalgia while giving its younger heroes another supernatural mess to clean up. Season 2 also ventures into unexplored corners of Hawkins, including some ominous abandoned mines.

13. ‘Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story’ (Netflix)

Genre: True crime horror
Available now: All 8 episodes (39–63m each)
What it's about: Ella Beatty stars as Lizzie Borden, the notorious 19th-century heiress accused of killing her father and stepmother with an axe. The series digs into the suffocating family life and forbidden relationship that precede the murders, with Vicky Krieps as Lizzie’s maid and Charlie Hunnam and Rebecca Hall as her parents.
Why it’s worth your time: "Monster" has found its first female subject, and Lizzie Borden is hardly an out-of-left-field choice. This season focuses on one of America’s oldest true-crime obsessions, while Sarah Paulson’s appearance as Aileen Wuornos connects Lizzie’s story to a later generation of notorious women.

"MobLand" season 2's premiere has finally arrived on Paramount+. And if you didn't know about the drama surrounding this show in the lead-up to its release, you'd assume everything was fine behind the scenes. Season 2 picks up right where we left off, as if it was just yesterday that we got the season 1 finale.

That includes Tom Hardy being front and center in this episode, which wasn't always a guarantee. A reported spat between him and showrunner Jez Butterworth led to rumors that Hardy had been fired from the show. Now, that was more likely to affect Hardy's possible appearance in the recently-announced "MobLand" season 3, but it's not impossible that it would have affected his role in season 2.

None of that matters now, though. As I said, you wouldn't even know there was a hint of offscreen drama after watching this episode. Conrad (Pierce Brosnan) and Maeve Harrigan (Helen Mirren) are still crazy, perhaps crazier than ever. And it's still Harry Da Souza (Hardy) who's stuck cleaning up their messes.

Spoilers for 'MobLand' season 2 premiere beyond this point

'MobLand' is setting up 10 straight episodes of all-out gang war

If you watched season 1, you already know "MobLand" doesn't shy away from violence. And this season starts off with an ultra-bloody affair.

Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, fresh out of prison, are meeting with Turkish gangster Gakbu Ruzgar at a dog track to discuss business. Only when they get there, Gakbu's not there. Instead, it's the Turkish drug lord's brother, and he's there to inform Conrad that the Turks are doing business with Conrad's son Kevin (Paddy Considine) instead.

Of course, this is taken as an insult, and Conrad shoots them all up in a pretty epic firefight. But while it may have been the cool thing to do, it's now turned up the heat on the Harrigans. Not only are the cops now looking into a fairly massive gangland killing, but Ruzgar's men are going to want vengeance.

But that's not Conrad's problem — it's Harry's. He ties up both loose ends neatly, for now. I think the police investigation will be an ongoing concern as the season progresses. It doesn't matter, though, because the main villain this season is Kat McAllister, who has just been appointed U.S. ambassador to the U.K.

While it's clear Kat is looking to take Conrad off the board this season, I don't think she'll be too directly involved just yet. I think that will be reserved for season 3.

Instead, it looks like Frankie (Johnny Flynn) will be the big bad for season 2. He's introduced to us via the retired DCI Tattersall (Toby Jones), who worked to try and take down the Harrigans in season 1. He's still focused on that task, and he plans to connect Frankie with Kat, so Frankie can do the dirty work of running London and cleaning out the town of all Harrigans.

We don't see much of Frankie, but from the brief glimpse we get, I think this dude is going to be a wacky villain. And I mean that in a good way. He's going to have some quirks, and I think we'll get some outbursts of violence from him that stick in our heads after the credits roll. Maybe it's something about the way he's dressed or his mannerisms, but I think Frankie ends up being a memorable villain for Harry to take down over the next nine episodes.

'Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story' (Netflix)

Genre: Biographical crime drama anthology series

What it's about: This is the fourth season of the hit anthology series "Monster." As the title suggests, this season the focus is on the life of Lizzie Borden (Ella Beatty), who was infamously acquitted of the 1892 axe murders of her father and stepmother in Fall River, Massachusetts. But innocent until proven guilty means nothing in the court of public opinion and people are still convinced that she's really guilty.

Why you should watch it: "Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story" is the second season in a row not to involve show creator Ryan Murphy. It's also the second straight season to feature Charlie Hunnam; this time he's playing Lizzie's father, Andrew. Hopefully, this latest installment does better than "The Ed Gein Story," which was not well received, despite Hunnam's performance.

'South Park' season 29 premiere (Paramount+)

Genre: Animated adult comedy series

What's it about? "South Park" features Trey Parker and Matt Stone as the voices of Stan, Eric, Kyle and Kenny. Each season, these four elementary school students, as well as their friends and families, are used to poke fun at everything. No topic is too big or too small for Parker and Stone to take aim at, though last year, it was mostly U.S. President Donald Trump. For season 29, the show has been renamed to "South America," a crack at Trump's desire to name things after the U.S. So, I would expect the President to bear the brunt of their ire once again.

Why you should watch it: Last year, "South Park" season 27 was one of my top 10 shows of 2025. The satirical takedown of President Trump was impeccable, and even though the follow-up season 28 wasn't quite as good, I won't be shocked if seaosn 29 is a top-10 show once again.

'Thursday Night Football': Detroit Lions vs Buffalo Bills (Prime Video)

Why you need to watch it: If these two teams want to make the Big Game, they'll need to do better than last week. Or, at least, Detroit certainly will. They were lucky to squeak out a win against New Orleans last week, and similar play will likely see Buffalo get a win under the primetime lights.

"The Traitors: New Blood" is a fresh take on the iconic reality competition (at least for those in the U.S.) as regular folk take the place of celebrities with $250,000 up for grabs.

Alan Cumming normally hosts celebrities, socialites and reality TV alumni in his famous Scottish castle for "The Traitors", but now, just like the versions of the show in the U.K., there will be 22 everyday citizens thrown together into this game of manipulation and deception. You know the deal by now — Faithfuls are trying to find the selected Traitors at roundtable banishments, while the latter can murder the former. Any Traitors left at the end of the show steal all the prize money.

"The Traitors: New Blood" was filmed at Andross Castle, near Inverness in Scotland, as a diverse range of people make allies and enemies, all in the name of winning the $250,000 prize fund at the end of it all. The show will run from mid-September all the way through to the big finale on November 19, and you can watch it all unfold.

The mix of spine-chilling horror and absurdist comedy has proven to be quite the winning combination for "Widow's Bay" — literally. The hit Apple TV series took home a whopping 14 Emmy Awards this year, breaking the record for the most wins by a single comedy season, including well-earned trophies for series star Matthew Rhys, supporting actors Kate O'Flynn and Stephen Root, and the biggie, Outstanding Comedy Series.

In case you missed it, the Katie Dippold-created mystery is set in the fictional New England town of Widow's Bay, a scenic but unsettling spot that, according to the island's superstitious locals, is allegedly afflicted with a centuries-old curse. Through the local mayor's (Rhys) valiant tourism-driving efforts, press attention and weekend vacationers start visiting the isolated destination — that is, until the island's dark, forgotten legends begin to come true.

While we wait for "Widow's Bay" season 2 to arrive on the Apple streaming service (a release date hasn't been announced, but we're hearing early 2028), here are five great series that offer a similar mix of chuckles and chills.

'Twin Peaks'

You can't miss the influence that "Twin Peaks" clearly had on "Widow's Bay" —small-town spookiness, strange local residents and whatnot — so why not start out with the oddball whodunnit that inspired so many others?

From the visionary minds of Mark Frost and the late, great David Lynch, the iconic 1990s mystery follows FBI agent Dale Cooper (Kyle McLaughlan), who is tasked with investigating the untimely demise of local teen Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) in the idiosyncratic town of Twin Peaks. As the investigation progresses, however, even more mysteries and conspiracies reveal themselves, all shockingly linking back to Laura's murder. Like "Widow's Bay," Lynch's cult-classic series plays around with genre, combining a procedural investigation with surrealist horror, soap opera campiness and plenty of slice-of-life quirk.

'Midnight Mass'

"Widow's Bay" and "Midnight Mass," a Netflix horror miniseries from "The Haunting of Hill House" creator Mike Flanagan, share a lot of spooky DNA, from their settings (isolated New England island communities harboring dark pasts) to their actors.

Yes, that's Hamish Linklater (who cameos on "Widow's Bay" as Richard Warren, the 18th-century founding father of the town) leading the "Midnight Mass" cast as Father Paul, a charismatic priest whose arrival to Crockett Island coincides with seemingly miraculous events, revitalizes the town's flagging faith — until that religious fervor takes a sinister turn.

'From'

Led by the great Harold Perrineau, "From" is one of the most gripping sci-fi horror series on TV, with a fifth and final season already in the works. While we wait for that no doubt psychologically twisted finale, you can catch up on the previous four seasons, which are set in a nightmarish town in middle America that traps those who enter.

Perrineau plays Boyd Stevens, the self-appointed sheriff and de facto mayor of the Township. He and the rest of the unwilling residents (played by Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, David Alpay and Elizabeth Saunders, among others) must fight to maintain order and a sense of normalcy, all the while plagued by the deadly nocturnal creatures that creep out from the surrounding forest every night. The survivors must try to uncover the town’s secrets and find a way out, all the while being slowly and relentlessly psychologically tormented.

'Wayward Pines'

Based on the "Wayward Pines" novel trilogy by Blake Crouch and executive produced by none other than M. Night Shyamalan (who also directed the pilot), this sci-fi mystery ran for two seasons on FOX from May 2015 to July 2016. At the center of it all is Secret Service agent Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon), who travels to the small Idaho town of Wayward Pines in search of two missing federal agents, one of whom is his former mistress Kate Hewson (Carla Gugino).

What initially seems like a simple case soon turns dangerously complicated, as Ethan discovers that he's forbidden to leave the town borders amid strict, strange rules enforced by Sheriff Arnold Pope (Terrence Howard). The "Wayward Pines" cast is stacked: Along with those high-profile leads, the series also stars Toby Jones, Juliette Lewis, Melissa Leo, Shannyn Sossamon, Hope Davis, Djimon Hounsou and Jason Patric.

'Bodkin'

Though it lacks the supernatural element of "Widow's Bay," Netflix's "Bodkin" similarly and delightfully mixes gripping mystery with dark comedy. The Jez Scharf-created series centers on a motley crew of podcasters — played to hilarious effect by Will Forte, Robyn Cara, and Siobhán Cullen — who set out to uncover the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in a remote coastal town in Ireland. Once the wannabe detectives start digging into the case, though, they realize it's all way bigger and weirder than they imagined.

"'Bodkin's' satire of true crime investigation could use a more compelling mystery to hang its quips on, but the series' sheer eccentricity makes for an intriguing enough tale from the old sod," reads the critical consensus over on Rotten Tomatoes.

Hulu is an excellent choice for building your next weekend movie marathon. The streaming service regularly adds both originals and classics to its library. Plus, because it's owned by Disney, it's the home for new releases from several Disney-owned studios. It even has deals with some other studios to get new releases before any other service, whether they're produced by Disney or not.

First up, let's go with a blockbuster: "Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw." This Fast Saga spinoff stars Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson as the titular characters and while it's not "Citizen Kane," it's a fun movie to watch. Once you're done with that one, check out "100 Nights of Hero," a fantasy romance adaptation of a graphic novel with a fairly impressive cast. Finally, I'm recommending "Heretic" for the second week in a row, because I think Hugh Grant's performance is that much of a must-watch.

'Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw' (2019)

Genre: Action-comedy movie

What's it about? Set after "The Fate of the Furious," this movie sees Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham as the titular Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw. In this spin-off adventure, they're teaming up with Deckard's sister Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) to take down terrorist Brixton Lore (Elba)

Why you need to watch it: This is a "Fast" movie. So, contractually, they're obligated to have cars. But this is far more a traditional action comedy than the vehicular action set-piece symphonies that make up the mainline "Fast and Furious" movies. That said, it's still a fun romp of a movie.

'100 Nights of Hero' (2025)

Genre: Fantasy romance movie

What's it about? "100 Nights of Hero" is adapted from the Isabel Greenberg graphic novel of the same name. It's centered around Cherry (Maika Monroe), whose husband, Jerome (Amir El-Masry), leaves her alone with his seductive friend, Manfred (Nicholas Galitzine). If he can seduce her, he wins Jerome's castle and everything within. But Cherry is focused on another deadline: if she can't get pregnant in 100 days, she'll be put to death.

Why you should watch it: This movie may seem to be about Cherry's relationships with these two men, but it's not. It's really about her relationship with Hero, her maid, played by the excellent Emma Corrin. The trailer didn't quite speak to me, but this cast list certainly does. So it's worth checking out if you like a romance movie.

'Heretic' (2024)

Genre: Psychological horror movie

What's it about? Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East star in "Heretic" as two Mormon missionaries. They think they've hit the jackpot when they arrive at the home of Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant). But while he initially expresses interest in their faith, he reveals he's really there to test it. Because he thinks he's already found god, and it's not their god.

Why you need to watch it: I love Hugh Grant's performance in "Heretic." He's an incredible horror villain, and while the movie doesn't quite stick the landing, the journey is more than worth watching it.

Netflix subscribers on the hunt for thrillers this week have come to the right place. I’ve combed through the streaming service’s September 2026 slate and picked out a trio of picks to add to your watch list this week.

My selections this week are quite diverse. There’s a legendary Steven Spielberg movie often cited as one of the best films ever made. Then there’s also a “so bad it’s good” psychological ride starring Jennifer Lopez, which is very much for those morbidly curious. Or how about a more recent thriller release holding a near-perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes?

Whatever your preference, I suspect one of these will appeal to your tastes, so here are three Netflix thriller movies to stream this week.

3 new to Netflix thrillers to watch this week

‘Jaws’ (1975)

There isn’t much I can say about “Jaws” that hasn’t been said before. This Steven Spielberg masterpiece is one of the most iconic and influential movies of all time. It changed the cinematic landscape, ushering in the “blockbuster era,” and inspiring whole generations of filmmakers. But for all the talk of its multi-decade impact, it should never be forgotten that the movie itself is just utterly brilliant. It’s tightly edited, masterfully written and so darn thrilling.

Set in the (fictional) New England town of Amity Island, the annual Fourth of July festivities are nearing, with tourists flooding its many golden beaches. However, all is not well on the shores of Amity Island as there’s a great white shark in the water. With the mayor (Murray Hamilton) refusing to close the tourist-packed beaches, a trio (Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss) take to the seas to hunt down the man-eating shark.

‘The Boy Next Door’ (2015)

I’m switching gears from a highly acclaimed film to a psychological thriller that was torn to shreds. To be clear, “The Boy Next Door” is a bad movie. So, you may be wondering why on Earth I’ve included it in this week's picks. That’s because this shlocky Jennifer Lopez vehicle definitely falls into the “so bad, it’s good” bucket. If you’re looking for a quality watch, skip it, but if you can enjoy a hilariously stupid flick, you might have fun.

Claire Peterson (Lopez) is an English teacher and single mom to a teenage son, Kevin (Ian Nelson). Her ordinary life is upended when she recklessly has a one-night stand with her 19-year-old neighbor, Noah (Ryan Guzman). She regrets the affair immediately, but Noah develops an obsession and begins a terrifying campaign of stalking, harassment and emotional manipulation. “The Boy Next Door” is corny with trashy thrills.

‘Lifehack’ (2026)

“Lifehack” is an overlooked British thriller that debuted to very impressive reviews. It holds a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes, but has largely flown under the radar. Its arrival on Netflix in the coming days should help to spread the word. It’s also part of the “screenlife” genre, which means that the movie is presented within a computer screen. Previous examples of this format can be seen in thrillers like “Searching” and “Missing.”

“Lifehack” sees a foursome of tech-savvy hackers attempt to steal cryptocurrency from a billionaire (Charlie Creed-Miles). When the mogul’s daughter (Jessica Reynolds) catches them in the act, it seems the game is up. However, she instead blackmails them into assisting in an even larger heist to steal her father’s entire fortune. It’s a tech-focused thriller with a social message exploring the class divide and “eat the rich” movement.
