Arknights: Endfield — Big Ambition, Still Finding Its Soul
Arknights: Endfield looks like a massive step forward the moment you see it. Bigger world, real-time combat, full 3D—this isn’t just an upgrade, it feels like a whole new direction.
And yeah, it
looks serious. Clean environments, detailed characters, that same cold, slightly heavy atmosphere the series is known for. It feels premium.
The combat is where things change the most. Instead of the slow, tactical tower defense style, now you’re moving in real time, managing a team, dodging, attacking—it’s more active, more hands-on. At first, it feels fresh. You’re actually
in the fight, not just planning it.
But here’s the thing…
It still feels like it’s figuring itself out.
Sometimes the combat feels smooth, sometimes a bit off. The world looks big, but doesn’t always feel alive yet. You can see the ambition clearly—but it hasn’t fully settled into something solid.
It’s not a finished feeling experience. It’s more like a glimpse of what it
could become.
And honestly, that’s not a bad thing—it just means expectations need to be real.

Final Thought:

Arknights: Endfield isn’t fully there yet, but you can see the potential from far away.
If it finds its balance, it could be something huge. Right now? It’s a strong idea still in progress.

I'll be sticking around the game like I did during WuWa's 1.X let's see if it is able to crack the code like WuWa did with it's combat, cuz AKE combat isn't really much of a highlight, it's only the factory which stands out from other games, they need to expand more on these, I'm not really worried as the devs said they are well aware of their combat are going expand it more, so is the factory. So for now, time will tell yeah
