YOUTUBE star BoyWithUke has finally revealed his face to millions of excited fans after declaring he has "outgrown" the iconic mask.

The influencer and musician said he wore a mask because of anxiety and felt it gave him confidence.

It comes as the 21-year-old, real name Charley Yang, released a brand new album titled Lucid Dreams.

Recent Instagram posts have teased that the South Korean-born singer may be ready to take off his disguise, with one posted five days ago showing the mask discarded on the ground as he rides off on a horse.

BoyWithUke has more than 4million YouTube subscribers and 7.7million on TikTok.

His biggest hit, Toxic, has been played over 611million times on Spotify.

The social media star said he initially wore the mask to "protect myself".

He explained: "I am a very anxious person and wearing a mask gave me the confidence i needed to release music.

"However, over the past few years i’ve come to realize that the mask has actually been negatively affecting my personal life, my creativity, and my mental and physical health.

"i feel now that i’ve outgrown the mask and i want to be more authentic to myself.

"so for the sake of my well-being, i am moving forward. here i am."

He added: "I am still boywithuke. Things are just going to be a little different."

BoyWithUke signed off with a post script saying: "To the people threatening to reveal my face: i beat ya to it."

Fans have shared their excitement following the shock move.

"HES JUST AS HOT AS WE EXPECTED," one wrote in the comments.

"I can’t wait for your next tour, so that I can finally see you perform live without the mask!" another said.

A third person added: "The legend has been revealed."

His big reveal comes after big names, such as Twitch gamer Dream, have also removed their masks.
