Perfect for
A good day in Copenhagen starts with a simple sourdough bread roll. It’s usually served as a deconstructed sandwich with a slice of cheese and a swirl of butter, and then maybe a boiled egg, a piece of ham, or a dollop of jam. You can find this morning platter at almost every bakery in the city, but one of the best is served at Lido, along with other baked goods like kimchi crepes and pistachio-filled pastries. Lido is just a short walk from one of the dedicated swimming areas in the harbor, so when then the weather’s good, you can go for a post-breakfast dip after your meal—another way people here like to start their day.
