SFReview
This glitzy Italian restaurant from the Che Fico people is Mission Bay’s prettiest restaurant, complete with pristine tucked-away booths and a coastal chic color palette. It works if you’re pre-gaming a concert or Warriors game, are armed with a corporate card, or want to impress someone who won’t shut up about their Tuscan honeymoon. Go for the sformato with parmesan rind foam and cloud-like chanterelle custard, and the pappardelle in a tender wild boar ragu—and skip the overwhelmingly truffly cod and chewy $190 wagyu porterhouse. Portions run small, so expect to spend around $100 a head to fill up.
