This edition is put online in six parts — by the three books in each volume. Below are some of the conventions used that differ from the facsimile print version:

• omission of letters and other obvious mistakes of typesetting have been corrected
• other changes or additions have been placed in double brackets [[ ]]
• diacritical marks have been left off
• files are split by sections, not page numbers, so portions of some pages may be in two files
• Greek characters have been transliterated into italic Latin characters and placed in double brackets
• hyphenated words at ends of sentences have been made one word when appropriate
• columns follow one another instead of being next to one another on the page
• table data are divided by slashes
