    I know about the trim going missing from the swingarm pivot but that was probably my fault. Does anyone know of any other inadequately fixed parts on the bike which need attention?

    I found this one rattling the other day at 80 on the motorway....

    Not a hint of threadlock adhesive on something that clearly needs it. Also while reassembling it I discovered it was put together wrong at the factory and had bent the plastic guides, it went back ok.

    There is also another which is probably far too easy to take off, the monkey lock for the top box. If you have one take a look and see if you think that's a security issue. Not going to post an image for obvious reasons.

    Yes, as posted in another thread, I lost the forward bolt of the left pillion peg assembly and the rear one was almost free.  This assembly supports the panniers as well.

    I found my left lower fairing was very loose after 7.5k
    Fairly easy job to tighten the bolt after removing the front painted cover. One star screw at the back
    Shows that regular cleaning and checking over the bike pays dividends.

    Thanks for the tip, I gave my radiator fairings a wiggle and the left side does feel loose. This was not something I had been checking.
