You see him again on campus a week later as you’re eating lunch in the park, nose in a book, not noticing that he spotted you from a mile away and has been watching you for a moment until he grew too impatient to wait any longer.
Dealer!Sukuna who sits across from you on the picnic table, wearing shades and grinning like he just won the lottery. He leans in and peeks at the cover of the book you’re reading, snickering when he sees the spicy themed cover.
“I knew you were a fun one under that shy attitude,” he teases before picking up a fry from your lunch and munching on it, his pink hair dancing in the warm breeze as you look up at him.
“What do you want?” You ask, trying to sound resigned and confident but you almost choke on the words.
You’ve been thinking about him. Of course you have. The campus’ bad boy offered you to spend a night with him and you just ran away like a scared cat. You were torn between shame and regret but also still deeply turned on by the memory of that night. The missed opportunity drove you mad, until now.
Dealer!Sukuna kept his promise to himself and started chasing after you.
“Do you want the polite version or the truth?” He asks back, grinning before placing a cigarette between his teeth. He leans back, throwing his shades on the table as his knee gently bumps into yours under there, sending electric shockwaves between your legs.
“Both,” you reply shyly, smiling a little. No harm in chatting with him and teasing back, right?
“Well first I’d like us to be friends, baby,” he shrugs, drawing attention to the tattoos on his massive arms, his black tank top clinging to his upper body and not doing a good job at concealing how huge he was. He nods at you and leans over, you mimic him, like two friends sharing a secret. “Then I’d have you in my bed, making sure I’d ruin you for other men in the future. Fictional or real,” he adds mockingly, glancing at your book.
Your breath is hitched, you feel too hot in your own skin and his presence crushes you in the best way. He’s intoxicating, much like the drugs he likes to consume. You wish you could be free to give in, to want him back openly, maybe even make him work for it a little since he wants it - you - so bad. But your studies are too important, you’re too focused on your goal to ruin your chances because of a frat boy. No matter how tempting.
“I- I’m not interested, sorry,” you tell him, frustration and regret gnawing at your gut.
Dealer!Sukuna who sees right through your lies. He knows the effect he already has on you.
“One night, that’s all I’m asking for,” he offers, finishing his cigarette and crushing the butt on the wooden table. “If you don’t want to see me again after that, I’ll let you go,” he lies. But you believe him and this time, it’s too tempting to refuse. Again.
Besides, one night of fun can’t be that harmless. Most students get trashed weekly and yet they still graduate. One night to unwind with the hottest guy on campus wouldn’t put your plans in danger. It’s been forever since you’ve had some adult kind of fun, sticking to smutty books to make sure not to get attached or too distracted by a real man.
“What do you say, Princess?” He insists, one of his long legs sliding between your pressed thighs, prying them open. You let him.
He doesn’t look like the type of guy who gets attached anyways. You tell yourself that you can spend that one night with him then just lie, tell him it wasn’t that good and get back to your bland, boring life. You already know any sex with him would be life changing. It scares you a little. He scares you even more.
“Okay,” you eventually give up, heart pounding in your chest.
Dealer!Sukuna whose eyes light up with malice and excitement the second that small word comes out of your mouth. He’s not the type to work for things, he’s used to people coming to him and giving everything he wants on a silver platter.
This is a first for him. Just like it’s a first for you too. You’ve always made sure to keep away from trouble and he always stuck to the wilder girls out of habit. None of them had sparked a similar interest in him.
His hand reaches out and cups your chin gently. His hand smells like the cigarette he just smoked and this alone ignites something in your lower belly.
“Clear your schedule for me tonight then,” he demands, impatient. You shake your head.
“Not tonight,” you feel stupid for saying no yet again. But you need more than an afternoon to prepare yourself for a whole night with him.
Dealer!Sukuna who lets go of your face, huffing as he collects his shades on the table and snatches a pencil from your stuff. He scribbles his phone number on the margin in the book you’ve stopped reading.
“Up to you now, princess,” he slides the book back to you before getting up, his playfulness gone as he leaves you there, alone.
Your face falls as you glance at the phone number, feeling like you’ve just lost your opportunity to step out of your comfort zone. The one chance to experience more. Defeated, you collect your belongings and head to your next class.
The entire lecture, your mind is on the number written in that book, wondering whether or not you should text him and apologize - what for, being a coward? Or simply tell him that you can’t see him tonight because you’re too nervous. You end up doing nothing, going along with your day.
You’re walking to your last class when a strong hand snatches you from the corridor into a fire exit. Before you can scream, that same hand covers your mouth as you’re being pinned against a wall. Pink hair and crimson eyes come into view and you suddenly become acutely aware of the proximity between your body and his.
Dealer!Sukuna who is just tired of waiting for a taste of his new favourite drug.

ughh i have so many edits i want to make but they’re all for books that don’t have a film adaptation yet gdi
like the fanarts (and the captions of a million credits), character aesthetics, and fancasts/faceclaims may have worked for me in 2022, but now they just looks bad imo
on ANOTHER note, we need unwind/magisterium/kotlc/tlos film adaptations 🙏🙏
(ik that kotlc is confirmed and in early dev and tlos/unwind have been delayed/in the air for years now. but still give us magisterium please)

It's interesting when people complain about Richard not doing any fan service. 9/10 times it's Paul and 1/10 it's between Schneider and Till yet no one even mentions Flake or Ollie. It's fine I'd they don't come out to greet fans and sign stuff but when Richard doesn't do it (he's never done it to begin with) it's all of a sudden worthy of discussion.
I see these dumb comments and I gotta believe they're new fans.
With Richard, Ollie and Flake being introverted, of course they're not gonna do up and close crowds unless it's absolutely necessary. People forget that even if they are what they are, they still have fears and anxietys and get uncomfortable.
And why would they when you have Paul "Let Me Tell You Something" Landers"!
I didn't see anyone complaining, maybe i have the stop-complaining filter on 😄
Apart from the fact that the band don't owe anyone anything (other than showing up at a concert on time and give a great show, which they do)
Why would 'fanservice' just be 'meet people at a concert and be photographed while doing it'? Sure, some like to meet people a lot, like Paul (who is definitely a meet the people person) and Till (who as we know from Flake's books always has his dressingroom full with guests) at a show, while others want time to prep and unwind..
Couldn't fanservice also be: sharing nice photos on social media throughout the year, signing autographs making sure not just the happy few in front row get them, endorsing fanart etc etc? 🥰 (ofcourse i'm mentioning some stuff Richard does in this case)
And more importantly, working behind the scenes on all kinds of fun stuff for us to look forward to, isn't that the biggest fanservice of all?
Why do fans always want more, never satisfied with what they get 🌺
Wanted to leave it at that, but can't resist two more remarks:
- Fans who complain about Olli and Flake not doing enough fanservice should first start recognizing the guys when they walk past them on the street 😄
- in an anon ask on another blog i saw (not for the first time) the comment "what the guitarists are doing on stage is just fanservice" 😄 so yeah...i'm thinking Richard actually does a LOT of fanservice with his guitarist buddy 😄

I LOVE THAT BOOK!
Samantha is such a unique take on a killer! She treats murder the same way someone whould treat wood carving or knitting. It's just something she does to unwind every now and then. She has no actual malice against her victims and genuinely loves her town. It's just that her chosen hobby is more gruesome than most
Ugh... and it doesn't help AT ALL that i'm a huge fan of horror, crime thrillers, and forensic science so this book was like a hook to my neck dragging me into a dark basement where which I would never return, mayhaps in pieces.
It's such a great character study with no real "moral" just that she's far more experienced and views her "work" as therapeutic, it's the insight between "need" and "want", the visuals of her character being represented as a bear only living for the sake of protecting her territory versus a "mouse" or a "rat" with the irony of being very messy copycat doing it for the sake of "sticking it to the man".
Theres layers and I appreciate that insight, she reminds me of misery but without the crazed obsession, but with ALL the meticulous and gruesome detail. It's AWESOME in how gut wrenching it is.

Happy to be starting this blog for Drarry fanfic recs. Please bear with me as I learn how tagging and all that good stuff works - I've been reading Drarry for... 7 years? I've got hundreds of bookmarks to sort through and pull from, and I love browsing tumblr, but I've never had my own blog. I'll do my best (and if any veteran authors have tips, I'd love to hear them)!
A bit about me, and what I've got in mind for the blog.
I have an English degree. Even at the height of school, I was reading more fanfic (like, double, at least) than actual books. I'm in grad school now. AO3's still my favorite way to unwind from a stressful day.
I've got a soft spot for soulmate AUs, potion accidents, drinking games, mutual pining, and 8th year. I read almost exclusively Drarry, though other things may come up occasionally - rare pairs, or tropes I'm particularly interested in at the time. I also love fanart.

Secondly, while I'm a little stuck working on fanart for the Burning Maze (I have so many ideas but they refuse to come out...), I'd gladly unwind with simpler sketches and portraits of other characters that I haven't drawn yet. And be wondering “Sundew, what the fuck is that? And the fuck is it have a fuckass name like ‘The Skinjacker Trilogy’?” And those are fair and valid questions dear moot/follower. Let me tell you. But first, I wanna ask you a question: have you ever heard of Neal Shusterman? If yes, then you probably know him as the guy who Scythe or the guy who wrote Unwind or literally any other popular books he’s written (because of course the books my brain decided to hyperfixate on were one of his least popular books with like, 10 fanarts and 12 fanfics). If no, I don’t what to tell you man, go google him or something
So, The Skinjacker Trilogy is a trilogy (I know, big shocker) of Y/A books about these kids and teens who’ve died, but haven’t quite made it to where most people go when they die. So they’re trapped in this weird limbo-y place called Everlost. The first book follows Allie and Nick, two teens who died in the same car crash. I don’t know how much I can say without spoilers, but trust me, the plot is WILD
If anyone sees this and thinks these sound neat, I would LOVE if anyone else would read these books that came out like 20 years ago (at least the first book). These books got me through 2021 and 2022, and again, I’d love it if another person joined this fandom. These little guys are so dear to me and they’re essentially my OCs at this point. They’re my sillies, my blorbos, my beloveds

Yes!! I really want to do more with Fizz and Ozzie's human designs (and if I'm completely honest I would love to finally dabble into nsfw content with them - which will not be posted here, but only on @crispyanonartnsfw when the time will come)
I draw to unwind when I have time so I don't have plans or a schedule, I can't really tell you when this will happen. Also some other fandoms I'm in, obviously a part from Good Omens and the Hellaverse, that could result in fanarts are AOT (specifically Eruri), Sk8 The Infinity (specifically Matchablossom), Trigun, and Stardew Valley (I know you didn't expect this one).
Truthfully I draw what inspires me in the moment so I might read a book or see a movie and fixate on it for a while, who knows ✌🏽😔

F - it depends on what you consider being in a fandom? I first got tumblr 2 years ago for Tangled but I never posted anything, but I first discovered what fanart was (on DeviantArt) like 5 years ago after I first read the unwind series and I've been obsessed with the series ever since
K- Lev's character arc throughout just the first book is BEAUTIFUL. How he slowly gained his own opinion towards unwinding after 13 years or brainwashing, how he chose to not clap, and especially how he learned he can love a God who does not condone unwinding. I'm not religious but that hit hard. The fact that he could keep his faith and his life.
L - Despite his not caring facade, Argent actually cares about his sister deeply. His arc was fun to read because not only was a he lil bootyhole to Nelson but also because he is a fundamentally caring person in the end.
R - I love Grace and Connor's friendship! Grace got someone who listened and respected her opinions, and Connor got someone to keep him from doing something stupid. They joke with each other, they confide in each other, and they are a catalyst for each other's strongest traits. For example, when they first met Connor was still snappy and angry from the loss at the Graveyard, and Grace felt she couldn't voice her opinions around her brother and that no one would listen to her anyways. But throughout the next two books Grace brings out the kindness and initiative in Connor, and Connor brings out the self-confidence and intelligence in Grace. They both had those traits all along but they helped each other embrace them!
