Mark (he/him) did two degrees, one in Journalism and one in English, at the University of Sunderland. His mum is quite proud. Or, at least, she seems to be. During his journey through the terrifying abyss of games journalism to this point, he’s seen some things that’d make lesser men quake in their boots. From negotiating the shark-infested waters of freelancing to jumping into the maelstrom of gaming news at Gfinity, he’s somehow survived it all. Now having landed upon the shores of VG247, he’s very much in the making friends with sporting equipment and growing disgusting facial hair phase of his career. If you must know, he likes playing RPGs, going for long walks, and occasionally forcing himself to read pretentious books about philosophy instead of comics.
