I googled up some old Lojak photos after my guess and he always wore Hi-Point gear not Malcolm Smith. I found pics of Lojak on a 1990 WR in Hi Point. If I recall MS bought out Hi Point and all the riders changed over to MS gear at some point.

My first instinct was that the gear and helmet looked like Todd Dehoop but I went with Lojak because of the 1989 WR Yamaha.

In 1989 the only guys I remember wearing MS were Guy Cooper and Ty Davis but they always wore Arai helmets. But if this is a photo from a magazine test than they could be in different gear.
