I am acting as Head Officer and CFO of PEMEX’s Captive (re-)insurance Company, to carry out all the activities regarding the administration of the Company, activities regarding reinsurance and retrocession as well as acting as CFO. Hands-on approach to manage the set-up of the company in Switzerland including all activities, ranging from pure administrative tasks to dealings with FINMA or Tax Authorities.

I was member of the Senior Management team and Head of Reinsurance Run-off, Finality and Retrocession. Specialized in non-life (re-)insurance legacy business operating in Continental Europe, the United Kingdom and North America. As a legacy business acquirer and manager, my aim is to reduce the exposure of our business through accelerated finality to free tied-up capital.

I developed a marketing strategy for strengthening our market share and redefine such strategy to the market needs. I also coordinated multi-departmental and multi-location efforts in the successful launch of new products, using negotiation and project management skills to ensure that all stakeholders like underwriting, sales, claims, marketing or IT, were on-board to achieve timely delivery. I did negotiate contracts with agencies, websites, portals, tied agencies, brokers and other distribution channels
