Future Shop

After receiving a notice that my Norton Aniti-virus was going to expire I called Wal-Mart, Staples & Future Shop to get a price. Wal-Mart & Staples informed me the product was $49 and Future Shop transferred me "to the correct department" twice where the phone rang over 40 times without being answered.

While driving to Staples to purchase the software I thought I should stop in to find out how much it was going to be at Future Shop and found a bunch of sales reps standing around talking and no customers in the store at all. The rep who showed me where the software was located apologized and recommended another Norton product to me for $89 + tax which I agreed to purchase. I took the product to the cash at the front of the store and stood there for 10 minutes but nobody was available to process my transaction/ take my money. This was at 8pm with no customers in the store!

I left the box on the empty cashier's desk and drove over to Staples and purchased the product for $30 less.

I spent 10 minutes looking online for a contact email and found none so I called the store and asked for a manager. The lady who answered the phone said she was a manager and would look into who was working last night but really didn't seem to care or offer any further assistance.

I have spent thousands of dollars at this place and they contnue to treat customers like they are pests by being in their store. From now on I will never return to this location.

Wretched service, went to the entertainment section of the store to ask a few questions about different TVs and the salesman was clearly annoyed by what I was asking and kept trying to push high end TVs. I walked away and started browsing on my own and the associate began to complain about me to a co-worker and said that I should go to Best Buy if I want anything other than whatever he wanted to show me. I'd never buy anything here, or any other Future Shop based on this experience.
