Service is quick, and the food is good. Remember, this is mall food court Chinese food, so it's nothing fancy. They load the portions, so you are very likely to have leftovers to take home. Ambiance is loud, it's a mall.
Note: make sure you know what you want before you get to the counter, they workers get feisty if you wait too long.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Frances O.Natick, MA032Feb 21, 2024
I ordered vegetable lo mein. She filled the container with lo mein, I didn't see any veggies, so I asked if she added the veggies. She said she did. I believed her. After I paid, I opened the container while still in front of the cash register, stirred it around, looking for the vegetables. There were NONE. When I questioned the workers, I couldn't understand the lady at the register. The lady who filled the container told me the slivers of cabbage in the lo mein were the veggies!?! I asked her if she was kidding!?! She then added 3 broccoli florets. I asked if I could have some carrots, too. She then added a few carrot slices. I ate the veggies, but the lo mein was dry and flavorless. I threw it away and went to Thai Kitchen. For $9.99, I really enjoyed their mango chicken with rice and lots of veggies, not just small slivers of cabbage. Don't waste your money at Master Wok.

Service...is a 1 star, food is 1 star. I asked for spicy chicken and fries and it was a total of 15 dollars. Okay that's fine? but the fries were not hot, they were STALE. And im not exaggerating i'm really not cuz I don't do reviews on places, but im doing this so nobody wastes their money. They BARELY gave me any chicken.... I mean counting ... 5 pieces... and most of them were small. There were 2 semi big pieces.. . next is the service.... they were a little mean and I felt rushed as well. That's all.

From the same owner as Master Bait, which is a fishing store. This is a Chinese stand inside the food court at the Natick Mall, and it's meh.
I concur that this all American Chinese food in the mall is really bad. Pretty unfriendly service too. At the same time it's just a woman trying to make a living and she doesn't really have to be super friendly in order to do that. The food isn't bad no worse than some of the other Chinese places around and better than some so I don't even need to give her a lower rating than a 3 - do you? Really? Right.Helpful 8Thanks 0Love this 10Oh no 0 - Bhaskor J.Boston, MA050Feb 4, 2024
I had horrible stale food at Master Wok at Natick mall; I went back to tell the server that the chicken is stale or rotten and they were rude to acknowledge. Offered other food rudely. I vomited after coming home and concerned that my little daughter, who ate it, may fall ill too.

I know it's food court, but can they get any nastier? As I was paying for food, one of the employees was picking her teeth by the hand sink. The cashier was rude until I tipped her. I had no choice, she gave me my change in dollar bill on purpose. The food was nasty with so much msg taste in my mouth. I know it's hard time for many small business owners, but this is just awful

This location was in the food court at the Natick Mall. The service was fast and friendly. I had the barbecue pork and General Tso chicken (they call it General Chicken). It was pretty good- comparable to other fast Chinese food. I'm the price was comparable. The counter and kitchen area looked pretty clean. I enjoyed it and will return.

Gamey. Something tasted off. Pushy upgrades. They were kind of rude. Refused refills.

Worst service ever: no greeting, no smile, no offering of a bag for carrying the takeout. The only wors that she said to me was: "drinks?"
There was no eye contact, nothing but few words spoken in gibberish. The woman at the counter seems mad and doesn't look like working at all.
The food was nothing special, mostly dry and flavorless.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Isabel F.Torrance, CA153192243Jan 4, 2010First to Review
Master Wok reeled me in with their free sample, as I was walking on my way to Macys thinking of what to have for lunch.
There was a huge line to order because it was noon and the lunch rush was in full swing. However the line moved swiftly and with ease. Most people knew what they wanted and ordered quickly, I on the other hand wanted to see what my options were.
I had a two-item plate, general chicken and beef & broccoli with fried rice. I wanted noodles too but there was a 5-minute wait for noodles, so I decided to pass.
My food wasn't that bad when you consider that it's food from the food court. The general chicken that had sold me on eating here was a bit disappointing. I ended up getting more batter than actual chicken, but I did enjoy the sweet/sour taste the chicken had. The beef & broccoli as well as the fried rice were decent but nothing to brag about.
If I found myself hungry at the mall again, I could consider giving Master Wok another try.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0
