Maple Grove Eye Doctors - Pearle Vision

For years I have been going to the Maplewood store without any problems. This year I chose the MG location because it was close to work & you had an appointment time that worked for me. From the check-in the staff was RUDE! I was told my insurance benefit was $5 off the exam which left my payment responsibility at something like $225. I asked why my exam cost at the Maplewood store has always been $0 with same insurance, the young lady became even more defensive.

When I was about to leave another lady approached me and said if I wanted to self-pay without the insurance the exam cost would be $89, I walked out. Your staff clearly knows nothing about looking up insurance benefits. I went to your competition Shopko Optical to get my eye exam for FREE because of my insurance & they only billed the insurance company $86! I also spent $811 at Shopko Optical for my new glasses, they will be my new go to for glasses each year going forward!!!!!

Maple Grove Eye Doctors were great to work with! Their customer service was exceptional. I brought my Grandmother in for a second opinion with the problems she was having with her eyes and they did agree that she has Macular Degeneration. They provided her with all the necessary information to explain her diagnosis and what she could do that could help her going forward. She was provided a prescription that met her needs. After leaving their office my Grandmother and our family felt we were given not only piece of mind but resources to better improve her future vision. Got my glasses and sun glasses from them. They are the best at styling and fitting. I could not have pick a better pair of glasses. Great service overall!!!

I had a great experience at Pearle Vision in Maple Grove and I'm really happy with my new glasses. I brought in a prescription from another eye doctor I've been seeing for years, and they made the whole ordering process seamless. The staff was very friendly and patient with me AND with my two year old running around in their play area! Even though the store was busy at the time, they went out of their way to show me and give me their opinion on a wide selection of frames, without making me feel rushed.

I was paired with a staff member with a similar prescription (the store manager, Odessa) which turned out to be very helpful in selecting frames as well as lens options that best suited that prescription. We had narrowed it down to two frames, and when I couldn't decide between them, she offered to take pictures of me with both so that I could see them from different angles. A small thing, but another example of their attentiveness and above-and-beyond service.

My glasses arrived very quickly and exactly as expected, and I received the same great service when I picked them up and had them fitted. I would definitely go back!

My family and I have been customers of the Maple Grove Pearle Vision for many, many years and have been extremely pleased with the care and service they offer. Consumers have so many options today, and I know most people agree with me that customer service means everthing. I always feel valued by the staff at this store! They acknowledge me when I walk in, even if there are others in line ahead of me. Our appointments always run on time. The doctors give thorough exams and explain things to us clearly. More than anything, I appreciate the hands-on help I get on the sales floor when I'm looking for new frames for my glasses, or when one of my children is switching to a new brand/type of contact lenses. They spend so much time with us and make double-sure that we are happy with our choice. This business is run by a family that knows people like me really value the personal touch, and I recommend their store to everyone I know, plus anyone out there who I don't know who might be reading my review.
