came here to get coffee only, as this location was on the way home, quick in and out visit, the parking lot is an absolute disaster to get in and out of at all business hours

the coffee was decent, and for the short time it was in my car, it perfumed my car for about a week, even for the 45+ min ride home

was in and out, service with the staff was great, coffee is super fresh and flavorful, would like to swing by here more often, but i can't stress this enough, the parking lot is not fun to deal with at all

The reason for the single star is simple...THEY'RE CRAZY EXPENSIVE !!!!!
If you look at the spices most aren't even organic nor do they even list where they are from !!!
Also have you noticed how they removed all prices from their website ????
Absolute pigs for the crazy price increases and being so dishonest across the board. I will NEVER go there as will NEVER get ripped off by them again.
Someone in the previous post said that they're never busy. Gee I wonder why ???

It was my first time at a Bulk Barn and definitely not my last! Can you believe I spent over $100 here? Most expensive items were trail mix and $14 for dried blue berries?!
My biggest complaint here is that I go overboard and buy too much stuff not knowing how much I'm really going to spend. Then I wind up having bags of dried powders everywhere.

This dilemma crossed my mind, and they also sell containers for my goods at the back. Note, there is also a dollarstore beside this location, but i figure $3 for huge 1.5L jar was a good price.

No need to write labels for each one, unelss you need to for yourself. They only require that for the spice area because everything looks the same.

I was also impressed that I saw the staff vacuuming and cleaning up while I was in there.

I spent over an HOUR in the store. I had just received all my diet limitations and I was surprised to see so many alternatives like rice flour, spelt, rice pasta, quinoa etc in the aisles that I can take.

They also have a weight scale to estimate how much it's all going to cost. I would take your time in here, especially if you're a noob like me. It would be worth the time to figure out how much things weigh and translates to $ using their scales.

MY FAVOURITE!!! Though I have been a BB regular for years, it has become nearer and dearer to my heart in these tough economic times and with today's focus on being a more eco-conscious consumer!

Buying all your pantry staples at Bulk Barn will help you save a TON of money, and you will be reducing waste by not buying overpackaged products.

      I get so much here!

Some of the stuff you might not know BB has (most people only think of nuts, candy, salt, sugar and pretzels when they think of BB):

      - all baking/confectionary ingredients and supplies (including cake molds and decorations, cookie cutters, huge variety of ingredients)
      - popcorn seasoning (lots of choices!)
      - organic grains (pasta, rice, quinoa, couscous, flour, etc.) and baking ingredients
      - specialty food - multicultural, special diet (i.e. diabetic, gluten-free, salt-reduced, etc.)
      - eco-friendly household, toiletries, cleaning products
      - pinatas (huge selection of shapes - and get the candy filling in bulk!)
      - spices (anything you could think of, in any form)
      - all sorts of food organization/storage containers & shakers/dispensers
      - bread machine supplies (bread machine flours, yeast, powdered milks, etc.)
      - powdered drink mixes - both cold and hot
      - coffee beans (you can grind them at home or at BB)
      - huge variety of teas (both in bulk and boxed)
      - healthier food (i.e. whole wheat pasta, many different kinds of granola and cereals, bottled nutritional supplements and vitamins)
      - junk food (tons of it!)
      - wet bulk items (i.e. honey, molasses, margarine, garlic butter, nut butters, jams, jellies and pie fillings, etc.)

Best place to go for treat bags or for Halloween... wait a minute... best place to go for candy for ANY occasion! The seasonal candy at Bulk Barn is one of the things I look forward to - Easter and Christmas too!

Usually come here because of the location which is down the street from my house which is walking distance, get some exercise when I can. The thing i love about this bulk barn is usually never busy when I come in and they have a variety of many different products to buy. I usually buy all the nuts and dried fruits to make my very own trail mix which include Brazilian Nuts, Pecans, Walnuts, Peanuts, macadamia nuts and Dried Cranberries. Which creates an awesome snack!

Been to other bulk barns which have a huger selection of products they have but purely out of convience why I always visit this one in specific located at the crossroads plaza!

This is my local Bulk Barn. When I'm broke, this place cheers me up, cause there's always a lot of things I can still afford here. Everything from soup mixes for quick meals to fancy teabags and organic bath soaps. Oh yeah, save big on stocking up for special occasions like Christmas and Easter cause Bulk Barn is full of candies of every kind, PLUS packages of sugar free candies for your family members who are diabetic, or just trying to cut their sugar consumption. I love the staff here too, they are really helpful and cheerful. I wish every food and staples store were just like the Bulk Barn, in what they offer and how nice their staff are. OK, Bulk Barn has EARNED 5 stars from me over all the years of saving my butt! Love ya BB!
