BL Smokers BBQ

One of the better country bars (of many) that I've enjoyed. Fun, but not fancy. Food better than the average bar, but not high end BBQ. Cuban sandwich was good...if it had a couple more thin pickles I would have said great. Grilled potatoes were really excellent and a little salty.
Wings were also good.

It was busy so they struggled with serving our large table. Servers were nice and were hustling around the best they could.
Overall we had a good time and would go back.

Stopping by here on a trip through Georgia, we had no regrets eating here! This is real deal barbecue to the max!
We had ordered a half rack of ribs, smoked chicken, and pulled pork. The meat was fall off the bone, juicy juicy and mega flavorful!
Baked beans had really good flavor with a nice kick to it.
This is real deal southern BBQ. Stop here if you can!

Came to here 10/12/2019 they only open Thursday,Friday, Sat. It my 4 time here my favorite is the foot-long sausage with potato salad, or French fries, .The ribs are delis , chicken banging, Goat meat banging. Everything banging.

Been by three times in last three days... Th, Fr, Sat. Nobody there .... their voicemail picks up and says store hours. Kinda sad because we want to support local small shops.

As of last Saturday, this business was CLOSED. Appeared to have been out of business for some time. It was a long drive for us for nothing.
Suggest you call in advance if you are considering going there.

I came across this place from searching online. My husband was dying for some true smoked bbq food so we decided to stop on our drive home to South Fl from Ellijay GA. Happy we did! The owner was super friendly & sure knows how to cook some true smoked bbq I had the rib tip and beans, my daughter had the 1/2 chicken w/ fries & my husband had pulled pork sandwiches. Everything was amazing including the prices! If you're in the area and looking for some down home bbq this is the place to stop. We'll definitely be back

I don't know why it took me so long to try them, but I only regret the years of living in Macon that were lost without having them. Got the brisket, pulled pork, collards and potato salad. All were amazing. The people running it are very friendly and you can tell they are local and have regulars. I can't wait to go try all the other delights the offer.

We stopped here for lunch yesterday. Delicious and inexpensive.

We walked in and immediately smelled goodness. We were amazed at the small prices.

The owner was kind and friendly while we ordered.

My girlfriend and I both had the pulled pork and loved it.

This is BBQ! I'm from North Georgia, spent many years in the low country, good BBQ. I don't know what is wrong with middle Georgia. It's the worst BBQ ever. Not this place! The pork is smoked right, pulled right, seasoned right. The Brunswick Stew is perfect, not some pureed stuff that Macon has been fooled in to thinking is good. Slaw and beans are on point. I don't know how their sauce is because you don't need it! BL Smokers, please don't change!

When i first came to Georgia I was searching for good bbq ribs and while riding through Macon I spotted this place. From the streets it smelled heavenly, so I stopped in and ordered the ribs.

It's carryout but that was fine I was going home anyway. The ribs were just what I wanted and more! I went back a second time (earlier afternoon) and discover they opened at 5pm-10pm only on fri-sat. I haven't had a chance to get back because of the days that they're open but if I ever want bbq ribs on a fri or sat and I'm in Macon I truly know where to go get them.
