I'm a few years late with this review (sorry, Frank!). They have the best gyros and the service was excellent. I haven't been to Long Beach in a while but I was just thinking about this place the other day and I'm sad to see it closed...

Havent given a 1-star in a while but this most definitely warranted one, if not a negative.

We came here after my cousin's wedding on the beach as a party of about 20 including kids. This tiny joint could hardly accommodate us as we barely fit inside. I don't know why they didn't at least allow some of us to sit outside where there were several more tables.

Service was horrible. Several of us were missing silverware and cups. Clearly the server didn't care. I had to ask several times for some of these items before I received them. I even had to flag her down just to place my order since I came in late. She didn't bother to ask my order or if I needed anything else. She didn't apologize that so many things were missing from my seat at the table. I was trying to give the server the benefit of the doubt as she was alone. But I later found out that the restaurant knew about our party ahead of time as this was a reservation. Sure didn't seem like it. Why didn't they prepare for us with two servers? I really hope no one from our party tipped this establishment a penny.

Oh ya and lastly the food. What a joke. Their "grilled cheese" is an insult to grilled cheese and to anyone with a tongue. My 3 year old son could make a better sandwich. Two barely toasted pieces of white bread and a slice of American cheese microwaved for 10 seconds, really?

The plainest grilled cheese sandwich in the world took 20 min

We had dinner here on Friday night and enjoyed it very much! Everything around here is so expensive so we were happy to find this place and it's decent prices and even happier with the food! I had the falafel wrap and it was delicious! Our waitress was super attentive and even though it was busy made sure we were doing good. Def recommend if you're in the area- Cold beer, great atmosphere!

      ......DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! ......

We came here on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

We took our seats. After 5-10 minutes the guy (I guess the owner) came for take our orders and we ordered two falafel pita sandwiches.

After 15-20 min wait, only 1 falafel sandwich came out. After another 10 min, second sandwich came. Then we started to unwrapped the sandwiches.

They were too cold and the ingredients were different from the menu.

On the menu, it says with TAHINI SAUCE. But the sandwiches madein with TZATZIKI SAUCE.
Tzatziki is made of salted strained yogurt with cucumbers, garlic, salt, olive oil.

      And I DON'T EAT DAIRY / YOGHURT PRODUCTS !!!
If you use Tzatziki Sauce, why do you write tahini sauce on the menu!!!! THAT'S A LYING!

Then I said to the guy, I can't eat it. Then he offered they can make it with Hummus. I said ok. After another 10 min, new sandwich with hummus came.

And we started to eat. I literally can say, THESE WERE THE WORST FALAFEL SANDWICHES WE EVER ATE.

Falafels were hard as rock and they taste is really awful. Humus was awful too. They were too cold. They served water after we received the sandwiches. Service was really really bad.

That was the worst dining experience we've ever had in California.

We paid $25.26 for this terrible two falafel sandwiches and awful service. Yes they took $25.26. That's must be a joke!

And we gave only $1 tip for embarrassed them. (if they ashamed)

If you can not do the right service, do not! Quit this business!!!

I would give this place 0 stars if possible.

      RIP. OFF. CITY.

The saving grace for this place is that the server was very nice. Otherwise...this would have gotten only 1 star...or NO stars if I could help it!

I paid over $5 for an egg-cheese-potato breakfast so-called burrito that was almost the same length as the hot sauce packet that came with it.

      O_O

Ok, so if I'm going to pay $5 for an eggroll sized burrito it better be the best damn tasting eggroll sized burrito. EVER.

NOT. The insides looked and tasted like microwaved egg-like product with oily imitation cheese that gooped up and felt like Elmer's school glue in my mouth when I bit into it. Oh, and by the way...where are the F*CKING POTATOES that are supposed to be in this "burrito"?

As small as the "burrito" was (please reference picture), and as hungry as I was...I could not bring myself to finish it. Blech!

Now I know why the server looked almost apologetic when she brought my food out to me.

At least I know now that there is one rule that everyone should follow with Shoreline Village...BYODF...Bring your own damn food!

It's tiny little place with simple things offered, but its Prime location dockside in the Shoreline Village.

Donuts, cupcakes and pastries available. I saw some cookies in the display case also. Cupcakes and pastries are not baked there, but it is it's nice to have it offered anyway if you want a sweet munchy with your coffee. Bagels and breakfast sandwiches are also offered. but they only had plain white bagels, so I wasn't tempted. Sandwiches and paninis are also available for lunch.

This place is pleasantly small, clean and quite tasty.

I like the Ham & Cheese Panini with Farmer Bros French Roast Coffee.

We actually sat inside on two of three wooden stools because it's cozy; but usually it's fun to sit outside and relax in the sun.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! You've been warned!

Came here for breakfast with friends, Saturday, 3/25. I should've known it was a bad sign when there was only one other table occupied. The server put our party of 6 inside, after a good 15 min wait, she finally came to take our order very unprofessionally and hurried. A breakfast burrito came out and a plate of eggs and sausage (there was 3 of that exact same plate) arrived after 15 minutes. After another 10 minutes, the server came back and said "oh I don't think that's your burrito" and took it away. Another 12 minutes later, the rest of the food came except for the breakfast burrito and the gyro sandwich. While she was playing plate shuffle with our plates, there have been several tables that sat and left without even placing an order. When all the food finally came, it was THE worst presentation I have ever seen coming from a restaurant. Heck, making that same breakfast at home looks even better. The hash browns that came with the plate was about a spoonful spread around on the plate. You would think they'd fill up the plate with potatoes since it's the cheapest thing there. The English muffin we ordered wasn't toasted. The burrito was disgusting and had barely any meat in it. Bottom line, I can go on and on about the bad quality of the food but i have to say that the service was even worse. When we brought up all the issues with our server, her response was "I don't even know what they're doing in there". We really should've gotten up and walked away, worse experience EVER!!

Nice place. Very friendly personal, cozy place, clear everywhere. This is my second visit here when I in Long Beach aria. A lot of places of interest: Aquarium of the Pacific 10 min from here, Queen Mary ship just opposite side of the harbor. Beach near too), without waves, kids friendly.

      Drinks and wine very good.
