Total Scam and Rip off!!

My husband booked a cooking class through CozyMeals and the day of the event, it was cancelled just hours before by the chef, he did re-schedule us for the following weekend, however, when we pulled up to the event we did not realize this was at a private residence. I was not at all comfortable with this type of setting only to find out that it was just going to be me, my husband and the chef. When I called customer service thinking they of course would understand and refund my husband I basically was told by the rep and "a supervisor" that the best they could do for me is offer me a 15% credit - that's $30 out of the $190 my husband paid!!! That is a slap in the face to a customer who never dined or got to experience a cooking class. It was ok by CozyMeal Chef to cancel on us the day of but not ok for us to cancel due to the circumstances that I was not comfortable entering a strangers home! Chef or not!
For the simple fact that they did not do the right thing by the customer, I will make sure no one I know ever purchases tickets for any of COZYMEALS events!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

This was such a wonderful experience, highly recommend David S!! We did the South American cooking night for a friends birthday. He arrived early, brought all the ingredients and set up. He taught us about the culture around the food we were eating, and we put together a meal that was restaurant worthy and absolutely incredible. David brought all the food and equipment, and even cleaned up! We love talking to him, and learning from him. This was really such a special experience we hope to do again.

Cozymeal classes in the Irvine area are awesome! It was a great way to meet new people post pandemic. It was nice to learn new cooking techniques when cooking French creeps with a group of locals and a French chef. I look forward to attending more Cozymeal classes in 2024.

We booked Cozymeal this past weekend and it was such a great experience. We learned so much from Chef David and had so much fun! It was easy to book, and we learned how to cook a new dish from the comfort of our own home. Chef David was very professional and very knowledgeable. Perfect for date night and a great way to spend quality time with loved ones. Second time taking a cooking class from Cozymeal and never disappoints! Highly recommend this company.

I had the best experience with my cozy meal cooking class! The chef came to our home and brought everything for a pasta making class. She was very knowledgeable and professional! We had spaghetti bolognese, a whole branzino with asparagus and cherry tomatoes and mousse de chocolate for dessert. The chef taught us how to make everything from scratch, even the fresh pasta! My boyfriend surprised me with the class and it was the best date night.

Very disappointed with their customer service. Mistakenly signed up and paid for a cooking class and selected an incorrect date. They would not allow me to access another date. Completely my fault, but their lack of customer service results in the loss of a potential good customer and I will share my experience with others! Be careful with your online registration!
