Ella Paella

Absolutely incredible food, presentation and service. My husband threw a birthday party for me and wanted to make it special, which it was - and a lot of it had to do with Jessica and the meal she prepared for 14 of us. Thanks for making this a memorable event, Jessica! We loved your amazing food and comfortable style!

My husband and friends surprised me with an event for my 50th birthday. Hands down the best Paella I have ever had. Wonderful and gracious, the appetizers were mouthwatering (shrimp and stuffed mushrooms) and dinner with Seafood Paella and a vegetable paella had so many great flavors. Thank you to Jessica and Abbas for making my 50th unforgettable. Thank you!

We hired Ella Paella to cook paella and appetizers for 17 people. They were super sweet and easy to work with and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend the guacamole and garlic shrimp for appetizers and we did a chicken paella with seafood. We loved all of it!

Paellas are a big tradition in my family. Being of Spanish origin, my father lived in Spain in his 20s, and I did as well for 5 years in my early adulthood. We grew up loving and cooking Spanish foods, and I dare say that I am a tough critic when it comes to the beloved paella. I had Ella Paella cater my birthday celebration with my family, and we were all blown away by her cooking. The paella was so savory and authentic...the black rice was our favorite! The tapas, especially the croquetas, were absolutely delicious as well. It was such a treat to enjoy this culinary escape from our home. Moreover, Jessica and her partner were delightful and friendly. They explained what they were cooking, recipes, special ingredients, etc.  I would highly recommend Ella Paella for a unique catering event.

If you like Paella - you will love Ella Paella. We held an offsite business meeting with 10 people and hired Jessica from Ella Paella to cater dinner. They did an amazing job. Apps were served as we were wrapping up our meeting - baba Ganoush, gambas garlic, gazpacho, guacamole served with a wonderful Spanish white wine - all were fantastic. The seafood paella was prepared right in front of us and it was really educational seeing how much work goes into the dish. Jessica and her staff serves us at the table straight from the paella pan. The sides were amazing and so was the rioja she brought to drink with the meal. If your looking for a fun, delicious and uniques experience - you have to try Ella Paella. I have been enjoying Paella at the Friday night Occidental farmers market for quite some time now. Gerards has always made the best Paella and I was highly disappointed when I went to the farmers market two weeks ago and it was Ella's. It had absolutely no fish of any kind in it, just chicken and vegetables, the rice was undercooked and it was tasteless. Please come back to the Occidental farmers market Gerard!!

Jessica and Abbas prepared an amazing Spanish feast for my Mom's 70th birthday last weekend for a group of about 15 people. The menu consisted of gazpacho, rainbow salad, grilled shrimp, seafood paella as well as the chicken and vegetable paella. Everything was so delicious, primarily using organic ingredients from local markets, and was so authentic. Jessica and Abbas were very kind, accommodating, and prompt with everything. Definitely recommend and look forward to having them over again soon!

Wanted to leave a note and thank Ella Paella for catering my grandmothers 90th Birthday! Jessica was so easy to work with and the end result was fantastic! They were able to accommodate our last minute event and it was seamless! From the sangría to the the croquetas.... stuffed mushrooms were divine! The paella was delicious and authentic! Will definitely partner with Jessica again in the future! The icing on the cake.... in her kindness she brought my grandmother flowers for her special day!!! Gracias Jessica!!!!

We had Ella Paella as our guest chef for our Monte Rio Supper Club. Delicious chicken and veggie paella. Great flavors and fresh ingredients. Fabulous coffee mousse for dessert. I highly recommend.
