I've been waiting to try this spot for a long time. Let me tell you, it was well worth the wait. Taste on the majority of the donuts were the best I've tasted in the area. The donuts were fresh, airy, with a slight crispiness which came through even with frosting and glaze on top. The only reason why I had to deduct a star was because the texture of the boston creme was off. The donut tasted grainy for some reason..and I bought 3 of them!
Overall a solid donut shop to try if you're in the area. This is a no-frills, locally owned small business - so don't expect anything more. The business is located in a small strip mall.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ric V.Auburn, WAAug 20, 20243 check-ins
The donuts are average. The lady working is very friendly. Good selection. $23 a dozen.

Still my go-to donut shop in town after 2 years. This place is super busy on Friday mornings, but that's a good sign these days, right?
I notice a couple changes: 1) price has gone up slightly: 2) some small tables and chairs are added for people to eat breakfast inside.
They were out of my favorite Maple Bacon bar due to the morning rush, but the female cashier was nice enough to make me one (by putting bacon bits on the maple bar). I'm pretty sure she gave me extra bacon. YAY!! Also got my hubby's favorite per his request, Apple Fritter. It was a bit oily today, but didn't stop me from eating a quarter of his on my way home. Also got a croissant for my baby, which was pretty big but nothing special.
Tip: Bring cash to avoid credit card charge.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Dec 1, 2020Previous reviewSuper friendly family business. The lady offered to fill a chocolate donut with cream because they were out of the Cream Filled donut for the customer in front of me - talk about good service and customization!
I came to pick up my Grubhub order on a Sunday morning. When I arrived, my order was ready and placed inside a sealed box. Also, there is a plastic shield over the counter, which separates the cashier from the customer. Props for both!
The donuts are all super fresh. My favorites are the Apple Fritter and the Maple Bacon bar. I also got a Kolach (slightly sweet bread with sausage in the middle) - good for breakfast.
I will definitely come back for more donuts!! - Apr 11, 2024
I went twice in the early morning. Donuts were fresh and service was minimal but nice. Price is ok. I only suggest that they wait for the donuts to cool down before coating it in icing or the donuts wont get coated properly.

Too expensive. Almost $22 for a dozen donuts. We paid just over $15 for 8 donuts. Nothing spectacular and my husband's donut was good, but dry. Won't be back.

I decided to give Happy Donuts another chance. I ordered the night before so the donuts would be delivered early and fresh to our door. I used Ubereats again, which the hand off delivery was fine, and arrived in time for breakfast. I did give them an extra star because not all of the donuts were bad, and they finally gave me the donuts I ordered correctly. Only reason they didn't deserve more stars, was because the main reason I ordered was for their chocolate French crullers. Four of us took a bite just to taste, because looking at the crullers, you can tell it was dry, and hardly any chocolate on top!!! I've had French crullers since the 80s from different states, mainly L.A. area.
Here's what a French cruller is supposed to look like

Happy Donuts, I gave you another chance via ubereats. You failed me!!
I posted the latest photos. You can see what the chocolate French crullers looked like. My husband and kids were grossed out by the dry chocolate French crullers, with hardly any chocolate. Not sure I'm willing to give anymore chances :$Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0Jan 24, 2021Previous reviewNormally when ordering on Ubereats if an item is sold out, then it would show on the order form. If everything is sold out then order is normally canceled, and you were told why. Instead Happy Donuts sent me a dozen totally different donuts than what I ordered. Mind you donuts that no one in the household likes or would eat. The only thing was on the box an explanation was they were sold out of most of their donuts. Then they should've just canceled!!! Even though we don't like the choices we were sent, I decided to try the glazed twist donuts since they were still warm. However, it's was still raw in the middle!!!
So instead of trying to send us something, order should've just been canceled. Plus my raw donut wasn't good. Next time I'll go with my first choice and order from a different donut place even though they are further away, and would take 30 mins longer, at least I might've received what I wanted. - Maureen E.Kent, WAFeb 21, 2024Updated review
Best donuts in Kent! And the service is friendly and fast. Sometimes if you're lucky, they throw in an extra donut! The only problem is it's hard to eat just one so the waistline suffers if you go too often but so worth it!

Not sure why but I LOVE how fresh Happy Donuts are - so delicious. They have the usual flavors and they're all good. Love the apple fritters warmed up. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are a bit high though. But still worth it.

Really quick service and super fluffy donuts. I got the bacon maple bar, chocolate ring, and glazed ring. All were really good but our favorite was the bacon maple car. Highly recommend!
