Q:
Does the crab Rangoon have any scallions or onions? I'm looking for good crab Rangoon that is literally JUST crab and cream cheese! Can't find them anywhere!
A:
Literally just had some about an hour ago, and I can say that if they are in there you can see them or even notice any big chunks, so they might be minced so fine that they are there but unrecognizable, But I would hate to say No and then it be an… more

What an iconic restaurant to sit an enjoy great tasting food and attentive service by a young waiter Alessandro! Who made our experience here amazing!
Our dishes came out hot and presented in an appetizing way!
When Arrived was plenty of empty tables but it soon filled right up!
The atmosphere reminded me of Polynesia with water pool and greenery!
Hope to visit again!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Christena B.Clifton Park, NY01417Nov 2, 2024
Got food poisoning from Kowloon and was up half the night thinking I was dying. The food was barely edible in the pu pu platter. The sushi was not wrapped tight enough and fell apart and the scorpion bowl was awful.
The service wasn't awful but they rushed us to finish and the ambiance was actually pretty nice, except it was super dark.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Carl T.Brookfield, NH0364Aug 27, 2024
My familys been coming here since the early 70s and it was always a treat. We loved the place.
As a kid I didn't mind it was dark and hard to see but now that I'm older it's hard to see in there.
Now the food used to be so delicious and now it's some of the worst Chinese food I can find. The pork fried rice was disgusting, I couldn't even finish my initial serving, I also ordered beef and pepper and the beef was rubbery instead the melt in your mouth I was used to. Just really disappointed. Service was the only thing that was like I remembered.
I'd like to give it another chance but I've been twice in the last year and I'm not about to waste another 100 bucks on food I don't like and won't eat.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - Liam C.Dorchester, Boston, MA045Dec 27, 2024
Me and my sister came here with a bit of suspicion because the reviews were very mixed. We got our drinks fast and the food came very quickly. It tasted good, despite some reviews. But don't get your hopes too high up, the theming was intense but the food was pretty normal. I suggest the tangerine beef. The ambience was a bit loud, but to be fair there were a lot of people. In general its a pretty nice place.

I've been going to and enjoying Kowloon's for over 40 years. Their Chinese food is consistently excellent, and all of the employees are helpful, friendly, great people. And, if all that excellence isn't enough, this is also one of those iconic stand-up comedy clubs, originally one of the places Jerry Seinfeld got his start at: there's a picture of Jerry at Kowloon's on the wall!! I hope you really enjoy this fantastic restaurant !!

I recently ate at Kowloon. I really enjoyed the food; it was delicious. The service was not bad, and the ambiance was very family friendly.

The decor is a little confusing. Chinese American style food. With a Polynesian design.
The restaurant is dark and definitely old school.
Service was fine.
Food was like a bit of a bougie Chinese take out menu.
It was fine. Nothing really stuck out to me.
It was just ok.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Andy M.Owatonna, MN3461Dec 17, 2024
Probably a great place to party and maybe some stand-outs on the menu. But the other reviews are accurate. This places shame on anything remotely called a wonton and the egg roll will disappoint you as well. Come here here for fun and main dishes - skip the appetisers (except the ribs... the ribs are good).

This place is a landmark in Boston . This has been my home base Chinese spot since the 80s I thought all chinese restaurants ...
Let dig in the best egg Foo young was great tonight. Chicken fingers were crispy and tender lobster sauce. Also was very good or Saugus. Wings were also great tonight. The waiter actually recognize me. How cool is that my drink was so strong I had a SB can't wait to come back I love this placeHelpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 4, 2024
I just can't in good conscience give higher than 2 stars here. Honestly the 2 stars are for the staff/service. They were attentive, nice, fast. However, the food was just... meh. It could be because we got lunch combo plates, but everything needed salt? And just generally lacked flavor.
The space was definitely huge. Very dark inside. Kinda old school family restaurant. It wasn't too loud though. I probably wouldn't come back unfortunately. I really am not sure why this is such a MA staple.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
