Kroger Fuel

Pretty much the only gas station for downtowners. There is a shell on Liberty that is sketchy as hell (see review).

The positives:
- Reliable
- Cheapest around. Kroger fuel points -- Heck yes!
- Pay at the pump
- Convenience. Get your groceries, get gas all in one swoop.

Negative:
- Kroger's parking lot is INSANE! Now that it is "Newport Pavillion" and there are a million big box stores here it is a little hard to navigate and people act like they have never driven a car before.

For gas, this is really your only decent option...

5 stars for it being walking distance from my house and open 24 hours. Although, it's best to go during off-hours due to all the business traffic and crazy Carothers Rd construction right now.

Before they opened this, the only other Newport option was the shady/sketchy Speedway on 10th St.

Tip: Get your gas after doing a big grocery trip so you can take advantage of those fuel points :)
