PONKO Chicken

Customer service has been great and the food is bomb!! The look of the place is also very nice! My sister and I really enjoyed the ponko chicken with rice, pickled cucumber and the fried pickles with ranch, highly recommend!

First ones in for lunch so it was a bit quiet. The staff seemed like they were still getting things ready for the lunch rush.

Food is good, if a little odd. I feel like some of the items are a little off the wall and don't really go together.

The chicken is really good though! Great, big portions.

I don't even know where to begin with my review...this place was exceptional from the service, cleanliness, quantity of seating, bar options, and the FOOD.

My only "negative" is that I got the spicy and didn't get much spice from it but I understand everyone's level of rating is different. Nonetheless the flavor was still phenomenal. Also they don't charge extra for their house made ranch which is one of the best out there in terms of consistency and flavor.

Their fries were extremely well seasoned and flavorful and there's plenty of them.

Overall I would highly recommend making a visit.

I come to this location quite frequently. Usually I'll take it and go. I came in for a quick bite the other day. I ordered my usual plate with spicy tenders, rice and green beans and my peach almond tea.

It was midday, not too busy, It wasn't loud, there wasn't many people inside nor a lot of people waiting but it was definitely in disarray. Almost every table was either dirty (food crumbs, debris) or there was trash/dishes still there. I got some napkins to spot clean a table because leaving wasn't an option because I was hungry. I told them the cashier about it and he said okay so I left it alone. Even while waiting for my food, I'm used to seeing more than one person coming out and checking to see if the tables are clean. Finally my food was brought out but even then, they did remove the dishes that were sitting but not fully clean the tables as expected. Nobody came to wipe off the tables until I left which was about 30 minutes after arrival. I hope this isn't the new standard but to really enjoy the space of dining in, a clean table is appreciated.

This has to be one of my favorite chicken spots to go to. The chicken is always battered nicely and the crisp is very satisfying. The fries itself are always a hit except when it's a little soaked in the sauce, but that's okay! The staff are very nice and saying that they'll pick up the dishes for you and the environment is so nicely decorated. There's a cool bar. The restrooms are downstairs and hidden away overall the atmosphere is just very comforting with nice lighting.

I just had a rude encounter with a young lady work the register today. I placed an order online. Upon picking up my order I notice my food sitting in the ready station. I provided my name and she told me she'll call me when it was ready and proceeded to talk. I sat waiting 30 mins. I then asked again about my order. She rolled her eyes and finally ask the other worker (male) to check to see it the order (that was ready when I first walked in) was mines. They handed to me with a nasty attitude. I will NOT return.

Went here for lunch with some friends and this spot didn't disappoint. The chicken tenders was fresh and flavorful, especially with the OG sauce. The fries were so good with ranch.

The fried pickles were so good also. The customer service was on point also. The pricing was reasonable and it's plenty of parking in the lot.

It wasn't packed when we first got there but when we started to eat it got pretty packed. I would definitely return to this spot.

I came to place and pick up a to go order for 6 at 1115am in a Sunday. I walked in and was able to immediately place my order. The restaurant was empty.

There were two employees in the front to employees in the back. they were quick to put together my order.

a guy who looked mexican in his 20s, helped me; he was very friendly, polite and quick. since it was my first time here, it took me a hot minute to decide and he just waited patiently.

Parking seems tight in front of the restaurant but there is parking to the side where there are housing.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Ample seating. Bar and booth seating available. Tables for 8, 4, 2. Boosters for kids. Definitely big enough for big parties and small enough for casual couple dates.

Industrial farmhouse style decor. Clean lines. Tables and chairs are clean. Napkins and Chopsticks available at every table. Menus are easily accessible.

This place is really nice. Great service. Makes sense, as it's the flagship location and corporate office in one place. The service is great, but I have been here twice now and I like the taste of the food it's different, but the food needs to be hot. The first time I went, I had to send the food back because the food was cold. 2nd time, same thing. I just ate it, couldn't be bothered. They tried to tell me the SAUCE made it cold. Really? The sauce that was put on 30secs ago then directly handed to me made hot chicken cold? No. I think they have the chicken sitting there, which the guy all but confirmed saying they have a policy on food coming out fast. Listen, I will wait for hot food. I hate cold food that is meant to be hot. This place is a prime example of that. It would taste way better. When I did have my food remade the first visit, fries and chicken tacos, you could taste the difference of a freshly fried tender to the initial tacos they gave that were cold with cold fries. Patrons are really in there eating cool food. They dress it up really nice and the flavor is different but they are serving cold food. I don't like that, and this place is not cheap. I averaged $25-$27 both visits for a meal, and drink. Nuts!

The chicken is so good! Plus the sides are tasty too! Just wish they were in more areas.
