Summer Tap Juice Bar is exactly what you hope to find on a sunny Florida day--fresh, vibrant, and seriously refreshing. Nestled right on S Pineapple Ave in the heart of downtown Sarasota, it's the kind of spot that pulls you in with its clean aesthetic and keeps you coming back for the quality.

I stopped in for a mid-morning pick-me-up and was instantly greeted by the fresh scent of citrus and the friendliest staff. The vibe is bright, tropical, and relaxed--think pastel tones, natural wood, and sunshine pouring through the windows.

I went with the Sunshine Smoothie (pineapple, mango, banana, orange, coconut milk), and it tasted like vacation in a cup--super fresh, not too sweet, and perfectly blended. I also grabbed a cold-pressed green juice (can't remember the name, but it had kale, cucumber, apple, and lemon), and it was crisp, clean, and exactly what I needed to balance out too much beach food the day before.

Their menu covers everything from smoothies and juices to açai bowls and wellness shots--each one thoughtfully crafted with real ingredients. No syrups, no fillers, just the good stuff.

Whether you're post-yoga, pre-beach, or just passing through downtown, Summer Tap is a must-stop for anyone who appreciates high-quality, feel-good fuel. Healthy without being boring, and welcoming without being overdone. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Sarasota.

What a great find in Sarasota! Friendly staff that make delicious smoothies. I enjoyed the Refreshing Green and having it served in a real glass made it feel special.

Was in SRQ this wkend & stopped in the area for shopping . Summer Tap was around the corner & recommended to me. Food, service, the vibe of the place was just what I wanted! Had a lychee green iced tea & avocado toast (1/2) May have been easier to eat had I gotten a full sandwich b/c the chick peas were rolling off the 1/2 piece of bread. ‍. Anyway, highly recommend!!!

Summer Tap on the map, and close. We wind through downtown Sarasota, greeted by a sidewalk of art, leading to the freshest smelling smoothie, açaí bowl and topped toast dine, chill, eat and chat with a nice groove music. Greeted with a smile, made to order HUGE açaí bowls. Lovely

Refreshing

I don't often drink smoothies, but when I do I usually like them (unless they are green). I'm probably not a typical customer. Today I had some time to kill downtown and stopped in. I like tropical frozen drinks and they had one called Tropical Paradise. It has an orange juice base with mango, pineapple, banana, and other things. It looked great and tasted better. I enjoyed it on site, so it came in real glassware.

For some of my visit there was just me and a handful of workers, so I didn't pick up on any vibe, but I did like the appearance of the place. Over where the smoothies were made it was black with colorful baskets of fruit, nice contrast, and on the walls were large photos of more colorful fruit. Bricks along one side provided texture, a few pieces of comfortable looking furniture provided style. I did spot a guitar and mic stand and asked, and learned they often have live entertainment on Saturdays. That would certainly provide vibe.

I'm glad I stopped in.

It was my first trying this place and overall I was impressed. The ambiance of the bar is very good, and a nice space to relax with a smoothie or get a little work done. The menu is varied with a range of juices and smoothies. I went for the blend açaí smoothie which was nice, but the flavor was a little more muted than expected. Next time i think I will ask them to leave the banana out and add a drop of lemon juice to elevate the flavor profile.

This place is a perfect example of how hiring the wrong employees can kill the business's reputation. I've been here over a dozen times because I enjoy the healthy menu options and fresh pressed juice. However, I am consistently met with very poor service from the employees. On multiple occasions, I have been met with unwelcoming attitudes, long wait times, and mistakes with my order.
On my most recent visit, I ordered a hot MATCHA latte, which wasn't even warm. When I mentioned it to the girl behind the counter, she offered to pour hot water into my cup... It barely increased the temperature of my drink to fairly warm, while also watering it down. Her response was "that's just how we make our lattes". Meanwhile, I know I've had hot matcha lattes there in the past. It's a shame how little the staff cares for the quality of service.

*Rather than seeking to remove my completely valid review, it would be nice to see the owner take actual steps to resolve the issues brought up by a regular customer.

FYI I am not some Karen who enjoys writing criticisms. I post honest information, good or bad, in efforts to benefit those like myself who research reviews when deciding where to take my business.

If you haven't been here don't wait. This was super close to my hotel. I decided to stop in and glad I did. Their juices are delicious and the food was yummy. The atmosphere was calm and well decorated. I liked the relaxing look of the couch. I had the green avocado and almond berry toast (delicious) you can order half a toast. The juices I tried heart beet juice and kale lemonade, both delicious. Very healthy options and I love that.
