The best cinema in Hull.
Typical cinema prices, but the seating is very comfy, it's always clean, and the quality of the picture and sound is amazing.
It also helps being right in the city centre.

this is a great cinema. I go here with my friends all the time too see the biggest new releases! its comparatively cheap and has comfy seating and a set of great quality screens!

I really don't like this cinema.


I think the seat are uncomfortable. The so-called evolution screen with settees and bean bags is awful. The bean bags are at the front but not everyone wants to sit there and be staring up at a screen. Generally kids like to be at the front but not all parents like to let there kids go to the front alone.


Also, the staff are not that friendly. There are two sides to buy popcorn/drinks etc, but there isn't always a member of staff to serve you and if you are at the wrong side, noone informs you, you just have to work it out for yourself.


One good thing is that parking is free provided you get your parking ticket validated. However, noone reminds you to validate your ticket so if you do forget, you can drive 6 floors down to the exit, put your ticket in and realise that you haven't had it validated by the cinema staff on the 6th floor.

vue cinema is quite new to hull. but definitely a welcome addition. its the best cinema in hull. located in princes quay its central and very easy to get to. its not cheap, but only the usual price you expect to pay at the cinema. you buy your tickets, popcorn etc all a the same time so theres no having to queue twice. it has tiered seating so you never have a bad view and also the 'evolution' screen has beanbags and sofas instead of normal seats which my 3 year old thinks is fantastic!

This is a fantastic cinema, one of the best. As a visitor to Hull and a bit of a film fanatic, I decided to check this cinema out. The film quality was just superb with the digital projection, and the sound great also. The auditorium I was in was medium sized, but the screen was large and the seats modern and comfortable. I found the staff really helpful, and toilets etc clean. I certainly wish this was my local cinema!
